Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Construction Contracts Consultant and Quantity Surveyor, located in the Hong Kong SAR. The consultant will be responsible for day-to-day tasks including advising on contracts, preparation of EOT and cost claims, cost control, supervising the preparation of BOQ/SOR, cost management, cost planning, and cost reporting. The consultant can also be involved in preparation of expert reports on quantum and delay matters, and various types of dispute resolution forum. Additionally, the consultant will also be participated in seminars and training sessions.
Qualifications
- You must be situated in Hong Kong and can work legally in Hong Kong. Candidates not located in Hong Kong at the time of application need not apply.
- You muat be bi-lingual, able to speak (Cantonese & Mandarin)and write Chinese and English
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building, Civil Engineering or a related field,
- Chartered or qualified quantity surveyor preferred but not mandatory,
- 3 to 5 years experience in quantity surveying, contract management,
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
- Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese,

- Extensive experience in procurement, contractor management, construction planning, overseeing design processes, developing schedules, quality control, workflows, tracking milestones, managing risks, handling long-lead materials, and coordinating with internal and external teams.
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and plumbing systems.

We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to join a highly technical group responsible for designing, constructing, operating and maintaining our rapidly scaling offices in Asia.
We seek an individual, regardless of background, with a proven ability to deliver tasks effectively, solid technical experience, and sound organisational decision-making skills related to project tasks. The ideal candidate will work well autonomously, manage time efficiently, and make well-informed judgment calls supported by data and reasoning.
In this role, you will oversee our interior commercial projects as we acquire, renovate, and build our offices in the region. You’ll liaise between internal stakeholders and external parties across multiple projects to ensure smooth progress from concept to completion. Our team collaborates across many departments and external vendors, contractors, consultants, and landlords. Your work will encompass all aspects of our complex office builds and restack projects in the region.
About You
- Have 7+ years of experience in construction project management, project coordination, or superintendent roles in commercial interior fit-out construction.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills; able to describe detailed problems clearly and concisely.
- Creative, collaborative, and enthusiastic team player eager to learn and take initiative.
- Extensive experience in procurement, contractor management, construction planning, overseeing design processes, developing schedules, quality control, workflows, tracking milestones, managing risks, handling long-lead materials, and coordinating with internal and external teams.
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and plumbing systems.
- Able to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and meet deadlines across multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
- A project management degree or an engineering/architectural degree with relevant experience is a plus.
- Experience with PlanGrid, Autodesk Build, Bluebeam, MS Project, AutoCAD, REVIT/BIM, and MS Office is a plus.
- Willing to travel 4-6 weeks per year to visit various offices.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is a plus.
