The Opportunity
Arup Programme and Project Management is inviting high caliber talent to support our business expansion for the increasing market coverage. The candidate will be working on high profile projects in Hong Kong.
- Project management role of exciting projects in Hong Kong
- Comprehensive management training and career coaching programme
- Work with a group of energetic and young professionals

- Report to the project leader
- Implement effective project management for whole project cycle
- Maintain day-to day communication with client, consultants, contractors for successful project outcomes
- Manage project risks, value, change, cost to deliver the project

Qualifications & Experience Required
- Degree in building environment related disciplines such as Architecture, Civil, Structural, Building Services, Electrical, Mechanical, Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Project Management or other construction related degree
- Minimum 6 years of experience for the position of Project Manager
- Membership of relevant professional institution(s) will be advantageous
- Conversant with Hong Kong building regulations and ordinances
- Hands-on experience with BIM and programme planning tools (eg. P6) will be advantageous
- Creative, self-motivated with good interpersonal and influencing communication skills
- Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels

**What you will be working on:**
+ Generate and execute valuation assignments, carrying out project feasibility studies and other consulting work for both private and public sector

**You are someone with:**
+ Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university

+ An analytical mindset and possess strong ability to articulate research findings and opinions in valuation and professional reports
+ For managerial role - At least 5 years of work experience working within the valuation space

KPMG Transaction Services provides various types of buy-side and sell-side deal advisory support throughout the deal cycle:
- Pre-deal buy-side due diligence
- Sell-side assistance including vendor due diligence and vendor assistance
- Cross-border transaction assistance

- Sales and Purchase Agreement support
Specific experience of financial due diligence will be highly regarded but is not essential. We welcome applications from exceptional individuals who have the aptitude and drive to develop the required transaction services skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with a team of transaction advisory professionals and other advisory functions to execute due diligence and other transaction related advisory projects
- Carry out financial analysis on investment target to highlight deal related issues and suggest solutions
- Produce quality tailor made deliverables to suit the needs of clients
- Develop analysis to assist the clients in deal structuring and negotiations
- Participate in business development and public activities which are beneficial to the growth and development of the practice, including client and industry research and preparing materials to support our pitches and proposals to clients
Experience & Background
- Strong interest in M&A and financial services industry
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting / audit or finance with a major CPA or financial services firms. Candidate with big four financial services audit or transaction services background is preferred
- Transaction experience in executing due diligence or any other M&A advisory services would be advantageous
- A degree holder and a professional accounting qualification or finance qualification
- Strong analytical, financial and commercial skills
- Good time management skills
- Good written and verbal presentation and communication skills
- A team player with high levels of enthusiasm and self-driven mentality
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin. Written Chinese is preferred
- Ability to perform consistently at a high level under pressure

Experience & Background
- Strong interest in M&A and financial services industry
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting / audit or finance with a major CPA or financial services firms. Candidate with big four financial services audit or transaction services background is preferred
- Transaction experience in executing due diligence or any other M&A advisory services would be advantageous
- A degree holder and a professional accounting qualification or finance qualification
- Strong analytical, financial and commercial skills
- Good time management skills
- Good written and verbal presentation and communication skills
- A team player with high levels of enthusiasm and self-driven mentality
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin. Written Chinese is preferred
- Ability to perform consistently at a high level under pressure

Service Line Overview
The Turnaround and Restructuring team works with clients to drive value through business transformation strategies, turnaround, financial restructuring, liquidity, and insolvency support. Key services include:
- Financial restructuring
- Liquidation & Insolvency
- Turnaround
- Non-performing loan advisory
You will handle assignments such as reporting on financial conditions of stressed companies, providing restructuring solutions, and managing assets and estates of corporates and individuals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of engagements
- Monitor progress and ensure compliance with deadlines and statutory requirements
- Report to engagement partners/managers regularly
- Draft reports for Court, government, creditors, and stakeholders
- Analyze and investigate information from various sources
- Assist with ad-hoc tasks like client inquiries, research, pitches, and presentations
- Participate in meetings with clients, investors, lawyers, and counsels
Experience & Background
- Degree in accounting; CA, HKICPA, CPAA qualification preferred
- 2-4 years of experience in a professional firm is advantageous
- Relevant corporate recovery and restructuring experience is a plus
- Strong communication, analytical skills, and self-motivation
- Ability to identify issues and solve complex problems
- Good time management and ability to work under pressure
- Business acumen and fluency in English and Chinese (Putonghua is an advantage)
- Less experienced candidates may be considered for Analyst position
