The Finance Team works with clients to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of their internal finance and accounting systems and processes. Your key responsibilities

You will potentially be involved in a wide range of banking and capital markets or insurance projects focusing on Finance, Risk, Treasury or Actuarial effectiveness.

Typical projects could include:

  • Supporting implementation of finance systems across the finance processes of accounting, reporting, calculation, control
  • Support assurance and testing of implementation of finance systems
  • financial statement close process reviews, including development of process improvement recommendations and implementation roadmap;
  • help implementing changes in accounting standards (e.g. IFRS17), including process and technology impact assessment and help implementing roadmap;
  • local regulatory reporting process reviews and / or system implementation, including detailed understanding of HKMA / SFC / IA reporting requirements, documentation of data requirements, transformation rules and reporting requirements, and change management during the system implementation
  • developing a target operating model design and implementation roadmap for the finance function, including shared services design and implementation;
  • definition of a target finance systems architecture, including definition of requirements for vendor selection;
  • documentation of business requirements and future state process design for new general ledger or global consolidation system implementation, including documentation of requirements for vendor selection, and change management during the system implementation;
  • design of performance measurement and KPI dashboards, including documentation of requirements for vendor selection, and change management during the system implementation
  • design of cost allocation and profitability measurement frameworks and processes, including documentation of requirements for vendor selection (organizational, product, customer profitability, etc), and change management during the costing / profitability system implementation
  • design of budgeting and planning processes, including documentation of requirements for vendor selection, and change management during the budget system implementation

Requirements
To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance / Accounting related discipline
  • Accounting qualification or equivalent based on experience (HKICPA / CPA / ACCA / CIMA etc. certification) is strongly preferred
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience; experience in engineering finance process changes and operating model will be preferred
  • Good comprehensive understanding of Finance function
  • Experience in working as a finance technologist or a finance professional who has experience in General Ledgers, Sub Ledger, Regulatory Reporting systems, Financial Reporting systems, Performance Management systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft or turnkey built finance systems
  • Able to communicate with seasoned Finance professionals of EY clients confidently
  • Familiarity with contents across the Finance team's responsibilities
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
  • Ensure CMDB integrity, data accuracy, and alignment with ITIL processes.
  • Develop and maintain security workflows, access controls, and compliance configurations.
  • Stay current with ServiceNow releases and lead upgrade planning and execution.

What we look for

  • 8–10 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow, including:
  • ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CMDB, Security Workflows, Discovery, GRC/IRM
  • Proven experience in solution architecture and technical leadership.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
  • Experience with ServiceNow instance and MID Server installation.
  • Deep understanding of CMDB design, data models, and integrations.
  • Familiarity with security operations, incident response, and vulnerability management.
  • ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CSA, CIS-ITSM, CIS-ITOM, CIS-SecOps) are highly preferred.
  • Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin would be an advantage
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Exposure to ITIL frameworks and enterprise IT operations.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Technology Consulting – Platforms - ServiceNow – Senior Associate – Hong Kong

Your key responsibilities

  • Work with high-growth clients and other market leaders in industries such as financial institutions, retail, consumer products, media & entertainment, property development and management, education and health sciences
  • Design and implement ServiceNow solutions (the best together with RPA) with regards to the following use cases: Human Resources, ITSM, Health & Safety.
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with clients and commit to client satisfaction.
  • Lead and/or active involve in business development activities to contribute to the growth of ServiceNow offerings.
  • Participate in the career and performance development of the team by training new staff and providing timely and specific performance feedback. Foster teamwork and innovative, share knowledge with team members and enhance service delivery. Leverage ideas from other project engagements to enhance knowledge and create efficiencies

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Degree holder in IT related subjects
  • 3- years consulting experience with a consulting firm, maintaining a focus on business analysis in the area of digital transformation and new technologies. Strong analytical background, attention to detail along with structured organization and planning skills. Engage in discovery and identification of automation processes; proactively seek and suggest improvements, and outline any risks and recommend optimal solutions
  • Knowledge and hands on working experience in one or more of the following areas: ServiceNow, SAP HR, RPAs, Business Process Automation solutions
  • Knowledge and hands on working experience in one or more of the following areas is plus: Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, Cognitive Automation.
  • Knowledge of Python and VBA will be a strong asset
  • Experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and methodologies and typical problems associated with the implementation of technology applications.
