SCHOOL OF CONTINUING EDUCATION
Established in 2000, the College of International Education (CIE) is a self-funded unit of the Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), offering full-time Associate Degree (AD), Higher Diploma (HD) and Undergraduate (UG) Honours Degree Programmes at the Shek Mun (Shatin) campus. It is a major education providing unit of the School of Continuing Education (SCE), one of the seven Faculties/Schools of HKBU. CIE currently enrolls over 3,500 students and is committed to the University's mission of providing quality whole-person higher education with a Christian heritage. Applications are now invited for the following position:
Senior Executive Officer
The appointee will be responsible for providing administrative support to campus services and School activities. Duties include: a) preparing tenders and managing vendors for various services maintenance contracts; b) managing events, conferences, and related activities to support the School's development; c) supervising and coaching the subordinates to manage procurement, assets, and inventory for the campus; d) managing proper setup and decorations for the campus and supporting campus-wide operations; and e) performing other duties as assigned. The appointee may need to serve as a secretary of internal meetings and work flexibly beyond office hours when necessary.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree preferably in Event Management, Business Management or related disciplines with 4 years of work experience;
- Hands-on experience in the preparation of tender documents and vendor management;
- Good team player with flexible and positive work attitude;
- Self-motivated, attention to details, strong interpersonal and organisational skills; and
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for written tests.
The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract ending in August 2027. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The School of Continuing Education, one of the eight Faculties/Schools of the University and a major provider of continuing and professional education in Hong Kong, offers a wide range of full-time and part-time programmes at the post-secondary, undergraduate and postgraduate levels for young learners and working adults. It also offers in-house training and short courses to meet the community needs and market demands. Operated on a self-financed basis, the School and its College of International Education currently employ about 400 full-time staff and 550 part-time instructors. The School is inviting applications for the following position:
Senior Academic Services Manager
Reporting to the Head of Registry of SCE, the appointee will be required to lead the quality assurance team to maintain quality and efficient operation in the following areas: (a) leading and providing quality assurance-related support regarding academic quality assurance policies and procedures; programme quality assurance reporting; course evaluation exercise, administration support for programme development/revision; and statistical analysis on programme quality; (b) leading and providing secretarial support to major committees of the University/School and coordinating follow-ups as needed; and (c) coordinating with the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ) on programme accreditation as appropriate and uploading approved programme/course onto the Qualifications Register. The candidate will also be required to assist the Head of Registry in manpower planning and staff supervision, and to be the representative of the Registry in School-wide committees and events as needed.
Requirements:
Applicants should preferably possess a higher degree plus at least 10 years of relevant administrative experience. Experience in programme accreditation with the HKCAAVQ will be an advantage. The candidates should possess high proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese with computer literacy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as strong analytical skills are required.

Entry Requirements:
(a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree, or equivalent (See Note (i));
(b) A certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent;
(c) Met the language proficiency requirements of Level 3 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent (See Note (ii)); and
(d) At least 4 years' post-degree full time relevant working experience.
Note:
(i) A locally-accredited Hong Kong bachelor's degree is at Level 5 under the Hong Kong Qualifications Framework (HKQF). While there are other qualifications under HKQF Level 5, only bachelor's degree is acceptable for this recruitment exercise. Duties:
(a) To assist in the design of teacher training programmes, development of learning resources and serve as speaker in the training activities;
(b) To assist in administrative, financial, procurement and supporting duties relating to various training programmes;
(c) To assist in the implementation of different training programmes; to collect feedback, provide support in programme evaluation and handle enquiries;
(d) To support and evaluate the progress of the study tours for teachers by joining in; and
(e) To perform any other duties as assigned.
Terms of Appointment:
Successful candidates will be employed on non-civil service contract terms for 1 year.
Fringe Benefits
(a) 14 days annual leave and full pay sickness allowance whereas rest days, statutory holidays(or substituted holidays), maternity leave/paternity leave, where appropriate, will be granted in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Ordinance.
(b) A gratuity may be granted upon satisfactory completion of the contract with consistently high standard of performance and conduct. Such gratuity, if granted, plus any contribution made by the Government to a Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) scheme in respect of the appointee as required by the MPF Schemes Ordinance, will be equal to 10% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period.

Responsibilities
- Consolidate POS targets and achievements for individual BA lines.
- Compile roster data for C&I calculation.
- Calculate commissions based on consolidated data (automation preferred).
- Manage VIC incentive calculations based on POS and BA entitlements.
- Calculate seasonal incentives.
- Source raw data from the retail brand team for approximately 400 BA lines.
- Handle the administrative follow-up, organization and preparation of the elements required by the brand
- Feed into and steer the sales force information systems
- Collect, restore the information entered by the sales force
- Equip the sales force with the appropriate resources and materials to achieve their objectives (sales points, information leaflets, etc.)
