About the Role
We are looking for a talented Financial Controller to join our Finance Team who will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of financial management for our Hong Kong and Macau entities. This includes corporate accounting, financial reporting, tax reporting, company secretarial matters, internal control policies and procedures, and external audits.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the accounting and reporting functions of Hong Kong and Macau entities.
Manage the overall reporting (month end, quarterly forecast, year end, annual budget, 5-year plan), ensure timeliness, accuracy and compliance with all regulatory and corporate reporting requirements.
Monitor and review accounts receivable, accounts payable, first cost/stock cost and payroll functions.
Liaise with internal and external auditors and tax advisors to manage the audit process and ensure tax compliance.
Establish, maintain and enhance robust internal controls and corporate governance practices.
Review and identify workflow for continuous improvements and lead finance systems enhancement and transformation projects to increase automation and efficiency.
Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Manage ERP setting and company secretarial matters for all entities.
Handle ad hoc tasks as assigned.
About You
- Degree in Accountancy or related disciplines with professional accountancy qualification (CPA, HKICPA/ACCA/CPAA or equivalent).
- Minimum 10+ years of solid and relevant experience from a sizeable company, preferably in the publishing or manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English, Chinese, and Mandarin.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze, adapt, and drive change.
- Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills, with experience building partnerships.
- Devoted, analytical, competent, and with good business acumen.

What You’ll Be DOING
What will your essential responsibilities include?
- Responsible for Credit Control and Debt Collection :-
- Monitoring of premiums that fall due / overdue
- Send monthly broker statements
- Liaise with underwriters, brokers and management to progress collection process
- Reconciliation of brokers’ statement/payments made to offshore service centre
- Monitoring & matching of receipts and unallocated receipts
- Liaising with team responsible for Premium Booking/Resolving Discrepancies
- Accelerating the collection process on aged debt
- Engage with brokers on a regular basis to establish rapport and facilitate issues resolution.
- Monthly reporting of credit control balances analysis
- Provide & contribute towards Middle Office management and underwriting reporting packs
- Adhere to all internal company procedures where applicable including, but not limited to, administrative procedures, expenses, health & safety

What You Will BRING
We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
- Diploma or University degree is preferred
- Equipped with relevant related work experience, Financial Services industry will be a plus

Within this transformation, Controllership plays a pivotal role—ensuring robust internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR), enabling accurate and timely financial close and reporting processes, and delivering critical financial and governance insights to both internal and external stakeholders. Ultimately, the Controllership function is a key partner in balancing strong financial governance with the company’s growth ambitions.
Reporting directly to the Chief Finance Executive (CFE) and with a dotted-line to the APAC Controller, the Controller is responsible for leading the controllership function locally. This includes oversight of the monthly close, the preparation of periodic financial statements, the maintenance of accounting records and controls, and ensuring compliance with applicable GAAP standards. The role is accountable for implementing a comprehensive control environment that mitigates risk, enhances accuracy in financial reporting, and upholds the integrity of the company’s financial statements.
This position also serves as a key liaison with cross-functional business partners—including go-to-market/sales, operations/supply chain, digital/IT, legal/compliance, and corporate finance—ensuring transparency, accuracy, and strong governance across all financial reporting and performance processes.
Roles And Responsibilities
Technical Controllership
- Oversees the monthly close process for Hong Kong/Taiwan, including the trial balance, income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow, ensuring timely completion with well-designed and effectively operating ICFRs, in full compliance with IM internal policies, US GAAP, and local statutory requirements.
- Partners with Hong Kong/Taiwan finance and business leaders to execute monthly activities across all key operational accounting areas (e.g., revenue, cost of sales, operating expenses, capital assets), and directs both local and shared services teams (as applicable) to fulfill controllership responsibilities, including end-to-end process oversight, ICFR execution, and insight generation.
- Regularly adapts and refines Hong Kong/Taiwan GAAP-based accounting policies and methodologies in line with evolving internal controllership guidance—working in close coordination with regional and corporate teams. This includes complex and high-impact areas such as revenue recognition, inventory accounting and valuation, accounting estimates, lease accounting, close processes, and related ICFRs.
- Collaborates closely with the APAC Regional Controller and other regional business controllership teams to share best practices, resolve common challenges, and drive continuous improvement in processes and control environments.
- In close collaboration with the APAC Controller and local CFE, provides strong financial stewardship and oversight, ensuring decisions align with IM policies and support long-term value creation. This includes making and standing by difficult decisions that may be unpopular but are necessary to preserve Hong Kong’s financial integrity and drive sustainable performance.
- Leads the controllership team in establishing strong end-to-end financial reporting governance across key operational processes impacting Hong Kong’s financial reporting (e.g., Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Hire-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Inventory, Leases, and Capital Assets), ensuring deep process understanding, effective oversight, and a robust ICFR environment that supports both internal and external audits.
- Drives timely and effective remediation of accounting and ICFR issues in partnership with local, regional, and corporate finance teams. Responsibilities include root cause analysis and the development of sustainable, pragmatic solutions.
- Implements and enforces consistent, controlled accounting policies, procedures, and practices across all controllership areas, ensuring compliance with local legal requirements while staying informed on proposed legislative changes.
- Partners closely with tax, legal, and compliance teams (local and corporate) to ensure full adherence to Hong Kong/Taiwan laws, regulations, and company policies relevant to controllership responsibilities.
- Serves as a key liaison with external and internal auditors, leading audit activities for Hong Kong/Taiwan financials and ICFRs and ensuring remediation plans are executed diligently and effectively.
- Acts as a proactive business partner, spending significant time embedded in the business to advise on the accounting and ICFR implications of initiatives and operational decisions.
- Collaborates closely with local, regional, and corporate finance functions—including FP&A, Business Finance, Treasury, Tax, Controllership, and Shared Services (as applicable)—to provide accounting and ICFR expertise that supports key business initiatives.
- Ensures operational integrity of the close process, including clear ownership and handoffs, timely completion of account reconciliations, and consistent application of accounting policies and procedures across Hong Kong.
- Partners with regional and corporate teams to identify and deliver both short- and long-term cost savings through simplification and automation of controllership processes—while maintaining high standards in close execution and ICFR.
- Oversees operational finance areas adjacent to controllership in alignment with the Hong Kong team structure, which may include:
- Procurement and/or Accounts Payable
- Credit, Collections, and/or Accounts Receivable
- Income Tax (state, local, compliance) and Indirect Taxes (e.g., VAT, sales tax)
- Payroll and Employee Benefits
- Other relevant operational finance functions
- Serves as a key leader of the Hong Kong finance leadership team.
- Acts as a strategic thought partner to the Hong Kong CFE and broader leadership team, contributing to country-level business decisions with a controllership governance lens.
- Champions a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement, ensuring controllership is seen not only as a compliance function but also as a trusted enabler of growth.
- Builds, leads, and inspires a high-performing and cross-functional controllership teams with a focus on developing and implementing solid succession planning.
- Develops and executes talent strategies to attract, retain, and grow top controllership talent, including mentorship, coaching, and structured development programs for future finance leaders.
- Leads change management efforts within the controllership organization, especially in the context of transformation initiatives, system implementations, and evolving business models.
- Represents the Hong Kong controllership team in global and regional forums, sharing insights, driving alignment, and ensuring country-specific needs are reflected in enterprise-level decisions.

Maintenance Controller, directly reporting to the Senior Maintenance Controller (SMC), is responsible for:-
Job planning and control
- Updating and maintaining aircraft flight schedules according to telex/message provided by customer airlines
- Updating and informing all parties concerned of the flight movement changes
- Collecting and keeping order on all aircraft handling record, reports, and technical documents including aircraft handling form, tech log pages, check sheets, work cards and fuel receipt. Ensure all paper work are signed and stamped as required
- Packaging all required documents with aircraft handling form and send to Account for billing process
- Acknowledging all “IN” message and elaborate to all concerned person or parties
- Coordinating with AA and customer airlines as necessary
- Following up communication procedure and required as stated in customer airlines station/technical handling manual
- Sending debrief telex as per customer requirement
- Ensuring all office equipment in MCC are functioning normal
- Ensuring all keys of GSE are kept properly when not in used, and user’s driving licenses are kept properly while GSE are being used
- Carrying out duties as assigned by the Senior Maintenance Controller or Operations Controller or his/her superiors

Albaugh is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Controller for Asia Pacific . The position is based in Hong Kong, our regional headquarters of China Asia Pacific (CAP) region of Albaugh Group. Reporting to the Vice President of Finance in the region, he/she will lead a small team in Hong Kong and Indonesia, and work closely with internal stakeholders at different levels on regional treasury management as well as SE Asia & Pacific (APAC) accounting operations:
- Credit Management : Be the owner of APAC credit policy (update from time to time as seen fit), manage credit control, credit insurance and collection as well as install continuous improvement on processes. Prepare regular reports and analysis on credit status and collection metrics to identify trends and mitigate risk. Help analysis for the whole CAP region.
- Cash Management : Be the owner on regional cashflow forecast per entity, actual cash allocation with proper intercompany loan agreements as seen fit. Work on e-banking project as seen fit.
- Bank relationship support : Manage banks’ platforms, KYCs and other regulatory updates. Be the owner on users access. Manage all trade finance documents, e.g. LCs, SBLC, ECB loan as well as cross border fund flow and FX (include planning and hedging).
- Operational Risk Mitigation : Work closely with other functions to evaluate the adequacy of internal control and policy framework in mitigating the financial risks in the APAC region.
- Accounting Operations : Oversee all aspects of accounting operations of APAC. Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes.
- Tax and Compliance : Ensure timely completion of all local statutory filings and tax obligations. Support tax planning and ensure alignment with intercompany transfer pricing framework.
- Business Partnering : Conduct regular review with commercial function and align on financial strategies and overall business goals.
- Team Management : Mentor team members to foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or a related discipline with an internationally recognized accounting qualification.
- Minimum 15 years’ relevant working experience gained in local and/or regional operation, in which at least 8 years’ solid experience in a supervisory position of credit/ treasury management.
- Strong background in manufacturing environments and hands-on experience in SAP.
- Good understanding of treasury and taxation in Asia Pacific.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, and sensitive to market/ economic environment.
- Willing to travel on an ad hoc basis.
Candidate with less experience will be considered for the position of Senior Finance Manager.

Job Description
Responsibilities
- Implementation of the Retail Control function according to AP strategy.
- Ensure implementation of retail routines, checks and controls through boutique visits, reporting production and analysis.
- Under the leadership of the Head Retail Control, act as an active member of the retail controllers ‘network by exchanging good practices with your peers, supporting affiliates and fostering alignment across the organization.
- Contribute to the company’s effort to simplify and streamline processes.
- Be the first advisor of the Regional and/or Country General Manager and act as a reference for Retail Control with the various relevant functions within affiliates (e.g. CRM, Commercial, Finance, etc.) as well as Headquarters (e.g. Retail Operations, CRM, Retail Excellence and Training, Hospitality, Commercial Finance, Risk and Compliance, Internal Audit) thereby enhancing a continuous improvement culture and fostering brand equity.
- Conduct Boutique/House visits and perform regular reviews of boutiques’ controls (e.g. inventory management and cycle counts, physical security, payment means, etc.) in order to ensure that retail policies, procedures and processes are adhered to.
- Identify gaps and needs for training and re-enforcements.
- Draft post visit report highlighting discrepancies and red flags as well as corrective measures and distribute to all relevant stakeholders.
- Update and amend business controls leveraging on (new) systems and related functions (Retail, Finance, HR, Compliance, etc.) when necessary.
- Review, collect and generate data/dashboards, in line with HQ reporting requirements, in order to provide transparency on potential discrepancies, anomalies and/or red flags and help monitor daily business operations effectively and efficiently (e.g. daily, weekly or monthly reporting on store’s inventory management, sales transactions, deposits and payment means). Additionally, review top clients, customers’ journeys, and ensure that background checks (KYCs), etc.) have been conducted and taken into account.
- Report and provide updates on boutique performance to local management and Global Head Retail Control.
- Ensure timely follow-up and implementation of the corrective actions. Report progress and status of completion to local Management and to the Head Retail Control.
- Act as a catalyst and promote transparency, integrity, accountability and respect.
Your Experience :
- Strong analytical skills, critical thinking and orientation to details and ability to make decision and escalate issues are a must.
- Strong communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills. Ability to pass on critical messages in a diplomatic manner.
- Strong team player with experience in a multicultural/international environment.
- Minimum of 4 or 5 years of experience, you have been a team leader in internal control, compliance and/or internal audit engagements (in Big 4 firm or multinational company) with a proven knowledge and track record within a large retail / luxury company.
- Alternatively, you bring a comparable experience gained within a retail / Luxury organization.
- Integrity and trust are among your core values.
- Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level) and local language is a must.
- Open to travel (up to 40% for regional roles / travel within the country on a regular basis for local roles

What You’ll Be DOING
What will your essential responsibilities include?
- Responsible for Credit Control and Debt Collection :-
- Monitoring of premiums that fall due / overdue
- Send monthly broker statements
- Liaise with underwriters, brokers and management to progress collection process
- Reconciliation of brokers’ statement/payments made to offshore service centre
- Monitoring & matching of receipts and unallocated receipts
- Liaising with team responsible for Premium Booking/Resolving Discrepancies
- Accelerating the collection process on aged debt
- Engage with brokers on a regular basis to establish rapport and facilitate issues resolution.
- Monthly reporting of credit control balances analysis
- Provide & contribute towards Middle Office management and underwriting reporting packs
- Adhere to all internal company procedures where applicable including, but not limited to, administrative procedures, expenses, health & safety

What You Will BRING

- Diploma or University degree is preferred
- Equipped with relevant related work experience, Financial Services industry will be a plus
