About The Role

We are looking for a dedicated and junior legal professional to join the Law Department as a Legal Counsel.

The successful candidate will support the senior members of the legal team to serve as a trusted legal advisor and subject matter expert supporting various business units by adopting a customer-centric approach, while ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, regulatory guidelines and company policies.

Legal Advisory and Support

• A solicitor or barrister qualified to practice in Hong Kong with a minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience.

Insurance law experience is a preferred but not a pre-requisite.
• Experience as an in-house legal counsel in a business environment, particularly within the insurance industry, is a plus.

Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Legal Counsel with 4-5 years of relevant experience (or 2-3 years post-qualification experience) to join our legal team. Value Added Partner

• Provide legal advice in the early stages of business management’s strategy development and key decisions, and help to ensure proper implementation of those plans, consistent with legal and regulatory objectives.
