YOUR TALENT:

  • At least 1 year of experience in retail environment will be an advantage.

  • Fluent in Cantonese, Fair English and Mandarin

M+ is a museum dedicated to collecting, exhibiting, and interpreting visual art, design and architecture, moving image, and Hong Kong visual culture of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. Located in Hong Kong’s WestK, we are one of the leading museums of modern and contemporary visual culture in the world. The museum reflects our unique time and place, building on Hong Kong’s historic balance of the local and the international to define a distinctive and innovative voice for Asia’s twenty-first century.
This is a fixed-term contract position of 2-year with possibility for renewal subject to organisational needs and individual performance.
You Will Be Responsible For

  • Assisting the Senior Manager, Museum Retail Sales and Business Development in daily front-of-house retail operations;
  • Supporting retail supervisors with monitoring daily sales activities, staffing schedules, and productivity;
  • Helping to maintain smooth operations on the sales floor;
  • Coordinating basic client requests, internal orders, and service needs to support sales efforts;
  • Assisting in the preparation of weekly sales reports and updates for management;
  • Liaising with the IT team for minor system issues and trouble shooting;
  • Supporting communication with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders as needed;
  • Performing other ad hoc tasks assigned by supervisors.
You Should
  • Be a university graduate or possess a diploma in a relevant discipline;
  • Have 1- 2 years of experience in retail operations, preferably in a multinational or customer-facing environment;
  • Be familiar with retail point-of-sale systems (e.g., Xstore) and basic SOPs;
  • Understand basic cash handling procedures and be willing to learn staff scheduling and performance tracking;
  • Be a quick learner with a positive attitude and a collaborative mindset;
  • Be proactive, detail-oriented, and willing to take initiative in a fast-paced environment;
  • Be able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under pressure;
  • Be organized, dependable, and eager to develop problem-solving skills;
  • Be flexible to work irregular hours or shifts when needed;
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
  • Have good communication skills in both spoken and written English and Chinese.

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Sales Associate / Senior Sales Associate to join our Marni team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing exception customer service and driving sales in our fashionable retail store location in Hong Kong.

What you'll be doing

  • Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets.
  • Deliver outstanding service aligned with the brand's luxury standards.
  • Engage with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships to drive loyalty and repeat business.
  • Create personalized client experiences, including services and private appointments.

  • Maximize cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of product lines, brand history, and current campaigns.

What we're looking for

  • At least 1-2 years’ relevant experience in luxury retail fashion brand
  • A positive, enthusiastic and team-oriented attitude
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with client and keen to build long term relationship with clients.
  • Excellent product knowledge and a passion for the Marni brand
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain high standards of store presentation.
  • Proficiency in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
