The Role
We are looking for a diligent and meticulous Court Clerk to join our Hong Kong office.
Key Responsibilities
The role will include but will not be limited to:
- Prepare and file court documents electronically via the iCMS platform
- Manage the firm's iCMS Organisation Account and liaise with the Court Registry
- Lodge Summons and Notices of Consent and monitor filing deadlines and system alerts
- Support judiciary submissions and ensure procedural compliance
- Assist with conveyancing stamping and conduct company and land searches
- Submit documentation to relevant government departments
- Handle statutory filings under the Companies Ordinance when required
- Liaise with the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) for tax-related filings and correspondence
- Assist in preparing and submitting Business Registration (BR) forms and updates
- Provide support for document authentication and related matters when needed
- Track statutory deadlines and ensure timely submissions
- Conduct filings with corporate registries, land registries, and other government agencies
- Handle submissions to companies, land registries, and relevant governmental authorities
- Process documentation with corporate bodies, property registries, and public institutions
- Manage official filings with business entities, land offices, and various government departments
- Maintain and organise legal filing systems
- Assist in preparing court bundles and certified documents
- Coordinate courier services and manage document dispatch
- Undertake other tasks as required
Key Skills & Experience Required
- HKCEE/DSE or above
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with good knowledge of litigation procedures
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, fluent Cantonese
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and iCMS system
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work alone with little supervision
- Work outside office is required

Additional Information
The successful candidate will be required to undertake initial training in Hong Kong.
This role will involve travelling to the firm's interstate and international offices.

Summary:
We are currently seeking suitably qualified candidates to join us in our Team in Hong Kong. The Court Recording Clerk will centrally monitor up to four courtrooms simultaneously from a remote location over the court's network, making log-note annotations and monitoring the quality of the recording by listening to the recorded audio channel in real-time while viewing sound-level indicators of each channel. This is an entry level position with ample room for growth.
