Global Design is the creative, visionary team responsible for the Colgate-Palmolive global portfolio of products which are found in 75% of every home in the world. We have over 20 brands in five categories – Home Care, Oral Care, Personal Care, Skin Health and Pet Care. We're looking for a Senior Brand Design Manager to join our Division Design team. The role of the Senior Brand Design Manager is tasked with coordinating Home & Personal Care brand design efforts in partnership with the Global Head of Division Brand Design, H/PC. The ideal candidate is an experienced brand design professional with a strong grasp of creative processes, excellent communication skills, and has experience working within a CPG on Global Brands.

Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership in Brand Design:
- Responsible for managing the look and feel of our Regional Home Care and Personal Care brands, ensuring Global brand consistency is maintained on Global Home Care & Personal Care brands across the Asia Pacific Region
- Drive the strategic development and implementation of the overall design vision for select brands.
- Collaborate with marketing teams and design partners to ensure the execution of design principles that align with the broader brand strategy.
- Assist in maintaining global brand consistency by contributing to and adhering to brand governance frameworks.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Packaging, Engineering, and Insights, to align design strategies with overall business goals.
- Work closely with Global Head of Division Design, H/PC, providing input and support to ensure design initiatives reflect the global brand vision and marketing strategy
- Project and Resource Management:
- Lead the planning and execution of design projects managing tasks within defined schedules and budgets.
- Support the creation of Design Briefs and Project Plans, ensuring high standards in packaging and other brand experience projects.
- Drive packaging excellence end-to-end with internal and external partners including a firm grasp of executional skills in print and packaging execution.
- Collaborate with external creative partners, such as agencies, photographers, and illustrators, to maintain quality and consistency in design work.
- Communication and Influence:
- Effectively communicate and execute design vision and strategy to internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and deliver presentations that convey creative strategies and influence design decisions throughout the organization
- Bachelor's Degree in Design or a related field required.
- 10+ years of professional experience in brand design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, GSuite, and other relevant design software/tools,
- Portfolio of work showcasing design CPG expertise and design strategy.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful design strategies.
- Familiarity with printing processes
- Strong understanding of the design process from concept to execution.
- Laser sharp project management skills.
- Digital design experience is very welcome
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in working both autonomously and within a team.
- Experience with cross-functional collaboration.
- Meticulous attention to detail, excellent typography & color management skills.
- Inspire and contribute to a collaborative and innovative environment.

- Give art direction / artistic advice in different phases of production of corporate publicity materials, including at printing process, photo shoots, and during video filming, editing / multi-media devices

- Liaise with different departments on design requirements

- Educational Background: A degree in Graphic Design, 2D / 3D character design, or a related field, with at least 3-5 years of professional experience in 3D visual design, and a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- 3D Design Expertise: Solid proficiency in 3D design with expertise in design tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, etc. Ability to work with a variety of styles and deliver high-quality creative solutions.
- Brand Design Insight: A deep understanding of brand visual systems and principles, including color theory, typography, composition, and the ability to adapt designs to match brand tones and identity.
- Comprehensive Design Skills: Ability to create designs across a variety of media, including illustration, graphic design, and 3D motion design. Experience in independently handling design tasks in each of these areas.

- Educational Background: A degree in Graphic Design, 2D / 3D character design, or a related field, with at least 3-5 years of professional experience in 3D visual design, and a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- 3D Design Expertise: Solid proficiency in 3D design with expertise in design tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, etc. Ability to work with a variety of styles and deliver high-quality creative solutions.
- Brand Design Insight: A deep understanding of brand visual systems and principles, including color theory, typography, composition, and the ability to adapt designs to match brand tones and identity.
- Comprehensive Design Skills: Ability to create designs across a variety of media, including illustration, graphic design, and 3D motion design. Experience in independently handling design tasks in each of these areas.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving and working in cross-functional teams.
Nice to Haves
- Advanced 3D Software Proficiency: Expertise in industry-standard 3D design software such as Cinema 4D (C4D), Blender, Maya, etc. Ability to independently complete modeling, rendering, layout, and animation tasks.
- Industry Experience: Previous experience in the internet, blockchain, gaming, or other relevant industries. Proven track record of successful projects and the ability to adapt designs for diverse business needs.
- Mandarin Proficiency: The ability to understand basic Mandarin is a plus. This skill will facilitate communication and collaboration with teams in different regions and enhance your ability to engage in cross-cultural discussions within our international team.

- Resourceful and agile enough to adapt in a fast-moving environment

- Solid skills in design software (Photoshop, Illustrator) and Video production software such as Premiere Pro/Final Cut Pro and After Effect
