The Creative Director will lead the creative team, directly reporting to the Chief Executive Officer , to develop ideas and concepts, executed with strategies designed for impact, that brings results to our clients and recognition to the agency.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver creative concepts and ideas, founded in insights, across all platforms for briefs and new business pitches
- Understand the category, context and landscape of the client’s business and develop ideas that are consistent with brand and differentiates it from the competition
- Recognize and develop original ideas and pushing them forward as the team lead for art direction, copywriting, design and communication to bring the creative process to life
- Work closely with senior account lead to oversee projects from ideas to activation, effectively completing project execution of high quality standards within timeframe and budget
- Lead all areas of the strategically aligned creative process including conceptual development, concept stories writing, art direction, design and production – within new business and for existing clients
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, digital marketing platforms and technologies, and Asia-Pacific market Creative Trends
- Actively contribute to execution and production of the on-going confirmed projects by the Agency, comprising of but not limited to branding concepts, logo and brand identity design & execution, graphic design, typography development, illustration works; events concept, guests experience, overall scenography & circulation flow; brand content strategies and concepts; photography concepts, art direction, production planning and on-site management; video concepts, scripts & storyboarding, production planning and on-site management;
Qualifications
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in an agency setting in Hong Kong, China and Internationally
- Relevant and proven agency experience in concept development, art direction or copywriting within an integrated marketing, creative, advertising, or public relations agency
- Ability to craft and deliver presentations that sell ideas and expand client relationships
- Ability to lead a team of art directors, copywriters and designers while also effectively collaborating with other internal and external teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Current portfolio to be submitted with your application

Key responsibilities
- Oversees the production process of highly customized client branded PowerPoint Presentations
- Communicate with client to understand project needs and present ideas
- Conceive and design style frames and storyboards for pre-visualizations
- Conceptualize and execute high-quality visuals for clients
- Work with other designers to create and design high-caliber graphics and other visuals

- Liaise and work with overseas design teams for collaboration
Personal attributes
- Master or Degree holder in Art or Design or related discipline
- 10+ years experience in Corporate Design is preferred
- Mastery of Adobe Software
- Ability to prioritize under tight time constraints and to work successfully in a fast-paced environment
- Effective interpersonal skills across teams and when liaising with clients
- Knowledge of designing for print and print formats
- Ownership of projects, with the ability to carry out projects from concept to delivery
- Understanding of narrative structure and storytelling
- Typographic sensitivity
- Possession of great presentation skills – both in creation and verbalization

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Skills in video, visual effects and animation production is a plus.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Ability to think creatively and strategically, with strong attention to detail.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing external agencies.

Creative Strategist, Greater China Responsibilities:
- Set creative direction and build strategic plans that prioritize the biggest opportunities for business results for both clients and Meta
- Build crucial relationships and influence with client teams across sales, creative, and agency - that positions Meta for success with large scale companies
- Build creative solutions that inspire, influence and drive client action
- Operationalize creative data, metrics and insights driven approach that identifies the right creative challenges and blockers, tracks progress, and delivers long term sustainable progress
- Coordinate and align multiple internal cross-functional partnerships that navigate different goals and enable collaborative success
- Learn fast to quickly decode and deploy emerging experiences at the speed of Meta technology
- Identify client’s creative challenges and developing, deploying and scaling breakthrough ideas and solutions
- Extensive creative experience in performance marketing/advertising: gained from working at creative agencies, in-house creative teams, platforms, tech companies, or non-traditional content creators
- Proven experience of proactively identifying, scoping and implementing innovative solutions, business focused and with experience in vertical short form video and creator marketing across multiple industry categories
- Experience in creative ideas for paid social media: portfolio of social media campaigns required
- Experience influencing C-level clients and agencies
