We have the following full-time job opening for a professional, motivated and technologically oriented candidate:
Job Description & Responsibilities
This role will require the candidate to manage and maintain our Singapore data center. Coordinating hardware installations, repairs, shipments and all other IT related requests from our Network, Linux and Windows teams, will be amongst the top responsibilities.
Additionally, the candidate will need to manage all technical spaces as well as assist with all IT related requests in our Singapore office.
Additional Responsibilities Include
- Physical Security and Building Management
- Management of projects regarding construction/expansions
- Infrastructure documentation and contract management
- Work in a corporate group to further develop group wide standards
- Workplace Management
- Coordinate workplace setups, moves and transfers
- Keep floor plans and other office documentation up to date
- 3-5 years' experience in an IT related field
- Bachelor’s degree in information system or related field preferred
- Strong organizational skills as well as ability to multitask
- Good command of English. Cantonese and/or Mandarin a plus.

Installations
- Racks and stacks customer equipment
- Installs intra-cage fiber tray, ladder rack, customer equipment and cabinets
- Infrastructure installs to include the following: whalebone cable management, public fiber tray systems, carrier ladder rack, AC/DC power trays, security trays, cash mesh
- Determines work priorities from the Oracle queue and ensures adherence to all commit times
- Conducts carrier circuit testing
- Installs/Tests/Modifies cross connects per SOPs and ensures proper cable management of: coax, fiber, twisted pair copper, and intra-building cross connects
- Installs and tests advanced cross connects circuits (switched, multiplexed, etc.)
- Installs and test Data Center Link cross connects (T1, DS3, OC3-48, Eth, GigE, 10Gig)
- Maintains detailed written records of all work activity
- Supports fulfillment of projects with direction from senior staff
- Completes all assigned training in a timely manner
- Supports customer satisfaction through timely and precise order execution

- Support disaster recovery drills and invocations
- Install and de-install customer cross-connections
- Perform Smart Hands services
- Perform tape backup services
- Handle incidents, troubleshoot problems, and escalate as needed
- Escort Telco engineers for circuit provisioning or troubleshooting
- Supervise vendors working within data center premises
- Maintain accurate records, document problems, and prepare reports
- Exhibit quality workmanship on all tasks
- Manage multiple projects and work effectively in a team
- Work on a 24x7 shift schedule and participate in emergency scheduling
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Graduate in Computer Science or related discipline from a technical institute or university
- Customer-focused with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to perform 24x7 shift duties
- Good presentation and problem-solving skills
- Disciplined, self-motivated, eager to learn
- Fluent in English, both speaking and writing
- Knowledge of office applications, telecommunications equipment, and technologies
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCIE, Juniper, Sun, etc., are advantageous

Job Summary
Conducts circuit maintenance, installations, and advanced testing.
Responsibilities
Installations
- Racks and stacks customer equipment
- Installs intra-cage fiber tray, ladder rack, customer equipment and cabinets
- Infrastructure installs to include the following: whalebone cable management, public fiber tray systems, carrier ladder rack, AC/DC power trays, security trays, cash mesh
- Determines work priorities from the Oracle queue and ensures adherence to all commit times
- Conducts carrier circuit testing
- Installs/Tests/Modifies cross connects per SOPs and ensures proper cable management of: coax, fiber, twisted pair copper, and intra-building cross connects
- Installs and tests advanced cross connects circuits (switched, multiplexed, etc.)
- Installs and test Data Center Link cross connects (T1, DS3, OC3-48, Eth, GigE, 10Gig)
- Maintains detailed written records of all work activity
- Supports fulfillment of projects with direction from senior staff
- Completes all assigned training in a timely manner
- Supports customer satisfaction through timely and precise order execution
- 1+ years experience
- High School Diploma
- BERT and SONET test equipment
