Responsibilities
  • Metadata Management Platform: Work with business analysts and solution designers to facilitate the capture of metadata as core change and operational deliverables. Oversee the maintenance of metadata artifacts, reporting and escalating issues, gaps, and inconsistencies as appropriate. Evaluate, establish, promote, and oversee the usage of the platform that supports the management and derivation of data artifacts. Identify and champion opportunities to improve the management of models and metadata.
  • Master Data Management (MDM): Serve as the business owner of the MDM system, collaborating with IT stakeholders to support the system’s daily operations and drive enhancements. Focus on automation and process optimization to enhance efficiency and support business growth. Evaluate technical solutions and architecture designs proposed by IT counterparts, conducting impact assessments to ensure alignment with business objectives. Develop and implement frameworks and tracking mechanisms to assess MDM system performance and ensure data readiness.
  • AI Governance: Conduct research and analysis on emerging trends in AI governance and industry developments to support strategic decision-making. Perform risk assessments for AI initiatives and develop strategies to address potential ethical, legal, and operational risks. Support the refinement of AI governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Develop and implement training initiatives to enhance awareness and understanding of AI governance principles among stakeholders.
  • Data Project and Stakeholder Management: Manage Data Management initiatives to meet appropriate time, cost, and quality standards. Support the Data Board in prioritizing data projects and validating investments and funding proposals in line with the agreed data scope. Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on the MDM system and other business projects, incorporating Data by Design principles into major projects.
