We are now looking for a talented Assistant Data Engineering Lead to be part of our team. The candidate will be leading a small data management and engineering team to manage and enhance a data platform on cloud. The incumbent will work closely with internal IT, business stakeholders, data analyst, business analyst and vendors on planning, management, execution & delivery of data management and the enablement for data-driven business model for Swire Properties. The incumbent will also work with internal stakeholders in ensuring the data is managed in accordance to Data protection policies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain, design, and enhance a Data Platform on the Cloud, to enable both CRM and non-CRM applications, such as data analytics, customer de-duplication and anonymization, machine learning model and Generative AI adoption
- Lead a team of internal and external developers in maintaining and enhancing existing ETL pipelines and storage on an Azure Data Platform
- Supporting the Data Management and Analytics Lead in managing and prioritizing enhancements on cloud platform
- Collaborate with Digital & IT Team and external data management vendors to establish end-to-end data pipeline (real-time and/or batch) from data ingestion, transformation, to data modelling through requirement gathering, data mapping, testing, and troubleshooting, and other relevant processes
- Develop and enhance the data deduplication and anonymization pipelines upon data source updates, and changes
- Integrate and update a Data Model for BI Dashboard and general analytics development
- Collect and review requirements to update and maintain a robust data model for a wide range of analytics purposes
- Ensure the data and information are delivered on-time with high quality, good performance, reconciled and integrity assured
- Support the Data Management and Analytics Lead in providing data requirements on upstream systems and touchpoints upon the introduction of incremental
REQUIREMENTS
- University graduate in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information System or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years' working experience in data infrastructure and architecture with demonstrated experience and capability in data warehousing, data modelling and design, data integration, data migration, ETL/ELT, BI and Big data solutions skill sets and strong SQL, Pyspark & Python
- Experience in data processing with small data & big data storage format like CSV, Parquet, Hive Metastore is a must
- Experience with implementing and maintaining cloud services such as Azure (Data Lake Storage Gen2, SQL DB, Data Factory, Databricks, Unity Catalog, DevOps) or related is highly desirable
- Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration/ Development (CI/CD) in data platform development and design, implementation & maintenance regarding data platform security is highly desirable
