RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the receipt, breakdown and inventory system logging of decommissioned data center assets whose next state of disposition is disposal or reuse
- Validate upstream records meet decommission scope and technology goods receiving requirements
- Ensure persistent storage components are timely separated from parent device, scanned and logged into the appropriate inventory system
- Ensure technology goods received adhere to asset inventory standards and procedures
- Validate technology goods slated for disposal received via the Logistics processes (ingested non-DC goods)
- Manage proper turnover of processed assets to secure storage entity
- Coordinate with relevant teams to identify and document asset management control risks i.e., physical security systems, secure storage access, CCTV coverage, record keeping, etc. is in place as per requirements.
- Support periodic asset management audits and investigations via field and/or desktop analysis efforts
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Extensive familiarity with computer components such as chassis, hard drives, memory cards, power supplies, printers, monitors, and ancillary devices and experience with assembly and disassembly
- Ability to read, create, and update standard flowcharts using Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio.
- Excellent reading and analytical skills to read operational process documents, feedback on their effectiveness and update them when necessary.
- The ability to take and maintain meticulous notes and records of activities.
- Ability to learn and adapt to proprietary data systems.
- Excellent teamwork skills, capable of working effectively across a variety of IT and Business groups, across regions and roles and, and being able to interact effectively with all management levels
- Ability to switch context quickly and work on multiple streams of work concurrently
- Ability to identify appropriate stakeholders within and beyond immediate team and work to build and maintain tight network/relationships with them
- Ability to identify where focus is needed and bring clarity to requirements
- Proven ability to execute on multiple, concurrent projects with minimal supervision
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills
CORE/TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Microsoft Excel (lookups, pivot tables, formatting) Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio, and Microsoft Outlook
- Proven ability to comply to and execute on IT Asset Procedures
- Proficiency in ServiceNow or related ticketing systems
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Educated to degree level

- Analyze and synthesize data from various sources, including financial records, market trends, and operational metrics.
- Utilize reporting tools (such as Tableau or PowerBI) to create insightful reports and interactive dashboards.
- Develop data transformation pipelines (using tools such as Alteryx, Databricks, etc.) from data sources to views required by reporting tools
- Maintain architecture diagrams, technical specifications, data dictionaries, and process workflows.
- Present findings to clients in a clear and impactful manner.
- Dive deep into data to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
- Provide actionable recommendations based on your analysis.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business specialists, data scientists, and project managers.
- Communicate findings effectively to clients, helping them make informed decisions.
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in management information systems, information technology, mathematics, statistics, or related field
- All years of experience will be considered, with appropriate role level and compensation to be discussed upon successful interview
- Practical experience in implementing reports and data transformation within a finance context is preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and critical thinking
- Ability to complete milestones and work toward multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Confident in decision making and the ability to explain processes or choices as needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in both spoken and written English (and Chinese)

Key Responsibilities
As a Data Specialist in our Finance Consulting team, you’ll play a pivotal role in analyzing complex data sets to provide valuable insights that inform business decisions. Your expertise will help guide our clients toward data-driven strategies and operational improvements.
Below are the key responsibilities for this role:
Stakeholder management and leadership:
- Collaborate with clients, management, and relevant stakeholders to define project goals and objectives.
- Understand the unique challenges faced by each client and tailor recommendations and solutions accordingly.
- Research, develop, and implement effective data-gathering methods.
- Analyze and synthesize data from various sources, including financial records, market trends, and operational metrics.
- Utilize reporting tools (such as Tableau or PowerBI) to create insightful reports and interactive dashboards.
- Develop data transformation pipelines (using tools such as Alteryx, Databricks, etc.) from data sources to views required by reporting tools
- Present findings to clients in a clear and impactful manner.
- Dive deep into data to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
- Provide actionable recommendations based on your analysis.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business specialists, data scientists, and project managers.
- Communicate findings effectively to clients, helping them make informed decisions.
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in management information systems, information technology, mathematics, statistics, or related field
