To support the accelerated build-out of a unified, scalable, and AI-ready data ecosystem across Asia, we are seeking a Head of Data Architecture (Director Level) to serve as the regional authority for enterprise data and AI architecture.
This role will define, govern, and drive the end-to-end data and AI architecture strategy, while also owning solution architecture for critical initiatives, ensuring scalable, secure, and production-ready delivery aligned with global standards and regional regulatory requirements.
As a capability leader within Asia Data Office, this role bridges strategy and execution, driving architectural consistency, enabling platform modernization, and ensuring adoption of cloud-native data platforms and AI/GenAI capabilities across markets.
**Position Responsibilities:**
1. Strategy & Architecture Leadership
+ Define and lead the Asia enterprise data & AI architecture vision, strategy, and roadmap
+ Establish target state architecture for data, analytics, and AI platforms

**Required Qualifications:**
+ 20+ years of experience in data, analytics, and enterprise architecture
+ 3-5 years in a leadership role (Head, Lead Architect, or equivalent)

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT or equivalent

We are seeking a dynamic professional to join our global team to work along side our Deposit balance sheet lead in Asia to contribute to the target growth and revenue objectives for the clusters. This role is pivotal in managing and optimizing the balance sheet across the countries within the clusters, providing analytics and the associated insight, leading certain balance sheet initiatives to enhance financial outcome and balance sheet discipline, and playing a key partner to other team and function members to support the Balance Sheet Lead and the Cluster Heads. The successful candidate will play a critical role in optimizing balance sheet performance, enhancing financial visibility, and supporting key regulatory and planning processes across the clusters. This position requires a proactive approach to collaboration with diverse internal stakeholders, strong analytical acumen, and the ability to influence, propose and/or resolve issues to unleash optimal growth opportunities.
**Responsibilities:**
· Work alongside Balance Sheet Leads, take guidance and support the initiatives to drive overall balance sheet optimization strategy for LMS, ensuring consistent alignment with the global balance sheet strategy; and contribute to deliver financial objectives
· In supporting role, coordinate and investigate cluster' KPIs and OKRs movements for accuracy and accountability
· Partner with Finance, Treasury, and other partners on Plan discussion, quarterly plan and outlook, Beta quarterly assessment, deposit analytics. Bridge in Segment drivers and growth targets.
· Contribute to various senior forums (cluster and country reviews; country deep dives) material reviews and material preparation, deliverables tracking and follow-ups
· Regular and ad-hoc deposit, product mix and financial impact analysis: Deposit volatility / Targets & Deposit Capacity Management, GSIB management
· In close partnership with the Fund Transfer Pricing, Capital, and Hedging Optimization Team, assess and highlight SYC issues for the countries. This entails assuring alignment with Citi policies, Citi balance sheet / central bank line limits, and market accessibility, with the expectation to challenge proposals when required.
· Support Cluster / Country balance sheet management topics that arise, guide or resolve issues
· Partner with Finance and Data Analytics teams to enhance Monthly Cluster/Client Analytics, ensuring that cluster performance visibility is consistently maintained. This also involves assuring the delivery and standardization of Key Performance Indicators.
· Drive an country deep dive process, with a primary focus on countries that have a material impact on the balance sheet and/or requires .
· Drive NIM/RLAP/ROTCE optimization initiatives in partnership with cluster and country teams, and the Optimization and Pricing Team.
· Provide support for any ad hoc requests as they might arise from the Balance Sheets Leads, Deposit Team Leads and Cluster Heads.
**Qualifications:**
· 7+ years of experience
· Experience in Product management and/or Treasury beneficial
