Retail Management Trainee Program (18 months)
The Retail Management Trainee (RMT) Program at Ralph Lauren is a dynamic, hands-on development program designed to cultivate future leaders in retail. Over 18 months, trainees will gain immersive experience in all aspects of store operations, including sales, visual merchandising, client engagement, inventory management, and team leadership. Upon successful completion, trainees will be eligible for promotion to leadership roles within Ralph Lauren’s retail network.
What You’ll Do
- Learn the Ralph Lauren brand ethos and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Rotate through key retail functions, including sales, operations, and merchandising.
- Develop leadership skills by coaching and motivating team members.
- Analyze business performance and contribute to store strategies.
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and mentorship opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree holders (or equivalent experience) or early-career professionals with 1-2 years of retail/customer service experience.
- Passion for fashion, luxury retail, and the Ralph Lauren brand.
- Strong leadership potential, adaptability, and a growth mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in Cantonese, English and Putonghua.

- Drive business process re-engineering and compliance enhancement initiatives in accordance with retail banking directions
- Liaise with internal and external parties for the most effective and efficient progress and delivery of projects and initiatives
- Degree holder in Business Administration or related disciplines and with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in retail banking operations in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership skills and able to lead and manage a team of retail banking operations management managers.
- Strong inter-personal skills with a drive to deliver quality solution, and the ability to build and manage cordial working relationship with counterparts.
- Core level of qualification under the HKMA Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) on Operational Risk Management.

- Help identify new business opportunities and generate leads through research and outreach.
- Participate in sales meetings, take notes, RFI/ RFP and follow up on action items.
- Learn and utilize the company’s CRM system to track client interactions and sales activities.
- Organise sales and marketing events to promote company solutions.
- Manage and expand the company’s social media presence by creating engaging content and maintaining active profiles.
Client Support:
- Assist in managing and maintaining relationships with existing clients.
- Respond to internal and external client inquiries, provide product/service information, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Support senior team members in preparing client presentations, proposals, and reports.
Account Coordination:
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, operations) to ensure smooth delivery of products/services to clients.
- Assist in preparing contracts, invoices, and other account-related documents.
- Monitor client accounts for satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and sales activities.
- Assist in organizing sales materials, presentations, and events.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the sales team.
- Collaborate with and actively support the operations team to enhance sales operations and maximize operational efficiency.
- Undertake miscellaneous tasks within the team as necessary to support the smooth functioning of operations.
Qualifications
- Academic background from Economics, Finance, Bus Info System, Fintech or any other business related disciplines. GPA over 3.0 (out of 4.3 ) or equivalent
- Fresh undergraduate or postgraduate students are welcome to apply.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory, proficiency in Mandarin and Cantonese (reading, writing, and speaking) is preferred due to the market focus
- Proficiency in G-Suite (Google Slides, Google Sheets, Google Docs)
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Hubspot JIRA, or similar tools will be a bonus.
- Interests to learn about and to collaborate with Finance institutions, Product Management, Project Management, Compliance, and Legal teams
- Self-starter, with a high level of motivation, dedicated, hardworking who can deliver on time under pressure with attention to details and quality standard.
