The Product Design Leader at Agoda is responsible for:
As a Product Design Leader at Agoda, you will oversee product design teams across a variety of business areas. You will be responsible for setting and executing the design vision, building high-performing teams, and ensuring design excellence and consistency across all touchpoints. This role is flexible and may be assigned to lead design for different product verticals as business needs evolve.
You will manage and mentor Product Design Leads, Managers, and senior designers, and work closely with cross-functional partners in Product, Technology, and Business to drive impact at scale.
In this Role, you’ll get to:
- Design Strategy & Execution: Define and implement the product design strategy for assigned product areas (consumer, supply, enterprise, or internal tools), ensuring alignment with Agoda’s global design principles, usability, accessibility, and design system standards
- Team Leadership: Build, manage, and inspire a diverse team of Product Design Leads, Managers, and Senior Designers. Foster a culture of growth, inclusion, and high performance
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Technology, and Design leaders to align on strategy, drive execution, and maximize the impact and ROI of design
- Design Systems & Consistency: Champion the adoption and evolution of Agoda’s Design Systems, ensuring consistency and quality across all products and platforms
- Talent Development: Mentor and develop design talent, supporting career growth and building a thriving design community
- Product Roadmap Influence: Contribute to and help shape product roadmaps, balancing short-term delivery with long-term vision
- Performance & Impact: Set and track KPIs for design teams, reporting on performance and business impact
- Advocacy: Be a passionate advocate for user-centered design, bringing cross-functional partners into the research and design process
- 10+ years of design and UX leadership experience in high-traffic digital products (100,000+ daily users), ideally in e-commerce, marketplaces, or product-driven companies
- Proven experience leading and scaling design teams of 30+ people, including managers and senior ICs
- Strong people management, team development, recruiting, and organizational building skills
- Deep expertise in product design, design systems, and building end-to-end experiences in complex environments
- Track record of setting vision, strategy, and roadmaps, and aligning teams with business goals
- Experience driving cross-functional collaboration and influencing at the executive level
- Data-driven and strategic, with a strong ability to balance long-term vision with short- and medium-term goals
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in OTAs, e-commerce or product driven companies
- Experience managing Designer Managers & Principle level designers
- Experience in driving strategy & influencing product roadmaps
- Experience with utilization AI across design org operations, product output

- Develop project governance model and reporting mechanism internally and externally, keep proper communication with HQ manager
- Evaluate and manage the process flow, compliance and proper documentation for overseas Data Centers, conduct relevant certification as required
- Participate in the construction and setting of standard operation procedure for newly established overseas Data Centers, which include but not limited to technical design, research and innovation works
- Collaborate with other departments to create strategic development plan for overseas Data Centers
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree or above in related disciplines
- At least 7 years project management experience in project delivery experience in Data Center or relevant Facility MEP Construction
- Must be familiar with Data Center Facility system including but not limited to Electrical System, Cooling system, Security System, Fire Protection System, Building Management System, etc.
- Be familiar with Project Management Skills, including but not limited to Integrated Management, Progress Management, Quality Management, Procurement Management, Cost Management, etc.
- Candidate must understand the Hong Kong’s local construction regulations, including but not limited to work permit
- Qualified Mechanical / Electrical Engineer is preferred
- Possess any working knowledge towards Data Center building management system, structured cabling system, IT infrastructure system and network technology is an advantage
- Excellent Command of written & spoken English and Chinese. Mandarin is an advantage

Position Description
Report to the General Manager, Strategy Planning & OEM. The Head of Design and Construction, VDO Project will oversee the entire design and development process of the airframe maintenance facility. This role is responsible for specifying, optimizing and executing the facility technical and user requirements with key counterparties
What You'll Do
Safety:
- Oversee safety protocols and procedures for the design and construction of the facility.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits to ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
Project Planning And Coordination
- Oversee the entire project design to construction to operational readiness, ensuring all phases are executed according to plan from initial concept and final completion.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including design firms, owner’s representative, contractors, procurement functions and airframe maintenance operational teams, to deliver project milestones and objectives.

Communication
- Facilitate regular meetings, provide updates, and ensure clear communication among all project participants.
Sustainability
- Ensure that projects are designed and constructed in compliance with HAECO environmental regulations and sustainability standards.

What You'll Need
1. Functional and other Relevant Experience
- 10+ years of experience in broad MRO industry, with a focus on broad airframe operations.
- Extensive experience in greenfield design and construction, airframe operational systems and management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of overseeing project implementation from start to end.
- Experience with working with internal and external stakeholders is essential.
2. Qualifications and other Relevant Knowledge
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of broad MRO operations and understanding of other MRO technologies.
- Strong understanding of design and construction processes.
- Proficiency in project management tools.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin is essential, a good command of Cantonese and Vietnamese is advantageous.

We are seeking a hands-on project leader to optimize trade support and product control workflows while laying the groundwork for future digital asset integration. - Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in sizable infrastructure development or site coordination of building projects, with at least 12 years of post-qualification experience and at least 10 years at a managerial level
- Experience in developing and managing institutional projects (e.g., University, Hospital, R&D offices, Laboratory) is preferred
- Strong knowledge of government procedures and statutory compliance requirements will be advantageous
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
- Station in Lok Ma Chau Office is required (Shuttle bus service will be available)
