The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (“HKTDC”), the statutory organisation promoting Hong Kong’s external trade, seeks a dynamic and high-caliber professional to join our Creative Department.
Responsibilities:- Oversee the overall production of 2D graphics and the workflow system for corporate events and trade fairs (including on-site supervision)
- Plan ahead and provide creative input, set innovative graphic templates for team members to follow
- Give art direction / artistic advice in different phases of production of corporate publicity materials, including at printing process, photo shoots, and during video filming, editing / multi-media devices
- Prepare concept presentations to pitch to internal customers
- Liaise with different departments on design requirements
- Cooperate with 3D designers / DO colleagues on the creative workflow system for assigned projects
- Quality control of work assigned
- Maintain good quality control and improve cost-efficiency on all projects with suppliers
- Handle ad hoc / special projects assigned by DH/CR
- Provide assistance for on-site setup and preparations
- Degree holder with 8 years relevant working experience in graphic and branding design is required. Non-degree holders with strong experience will also be considered
- Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere & Microsoft Word, PowerPoint & Excel
- Proven record of managing all aspects of a successful digital product lifecycle
- Strong organisational, project management, and planning skills; able to prioritise multiple tasks under tight deadlines while maintaining work quality
- Strong design sense and able to work independently or in a team to meet tight project deadlines
- Good interpersonal and communication skills in English & Chinese
- Responsible and self-motivated, with good communication and interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as a good team player
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with short timelines
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A competitive remuneration and benefits package, including annual leave, medical, and dental benefits, will be offered.

Temporary Facilities Officer (Interior Design) (11-month contract) (FMO) - Hong Kong Metropolitan University Li Ka Shing School of Professional and Continuing Education.
Founded in 1989, Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU) is a modern university offering professional programmes to meet industry needs. We are looking for a candidate to join the Facilities Management Office as a Temporary Facilities Officer (Interior Design) on an 11-month contract.
Responsibilities- Draft CAD design drawings and provide drafting support to projects and AA&I works.
- Assist/produce schematic designs and design drafts in response to user requests or concepts.
- Administer project work, and create presentation drawings and materials.
- Assist in design coordination and development from concept and feasibility studies to construction stage for projects and AA&I works.
- Handle tender drawings and prepare related documents.
- Manage document control processes for assigned projects.
- Update drawing records and maintain as-built drawings for the University.
- Supervise direct labour and contractors on execution of works/projects on Campus and the University’s premises.
- Follow up on work progress of works, projects and related matters as per supervisors’ instructions or stakeholder requests.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of Facilities Management or their nominees.
- A recognized degree/higher diploma or equivalent in Interior Design, Architectural Studies or related area, with at least 5 years of solid related experience in the construction industry. Experience in large architectural design practices is an advantage.
- Professional qualification is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently, follow up on issues proactively, and handle complex assignments and varied workloads.
- Experience in producing architectural drawings, graphics, and 3D renderings.
- Experience in design coordination and construction detailing.
- Ability to assist in design research and archive keeping.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Photoshop, and SketchUp.
- Good interpersonal skills with a customer service mindset.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and computer literacy.
