We have been engaged by a global Architecture studio to identify an inspiring Architectural leader to spearhead the office through change and support them into creating a modern bespoke design identity.

As the lead design voice for regional studios, your time will be split between design reviews, team mentorship and client facing activities. Based in the Hong Kong studio, you will have oversight of their project portfolio from the Middle East across to Australia. You will be confident to deliver bespoke solutions to clients, walking them through the journey you want to take them on.

To be considered for this position, you must be able to share the following:

• A CV demonstrating where have been in a positively impactful position to a design studio and its success.
• A portfolio showcasing your career highlights, including built work.
• Built projects in Asia. Middle East experience would also be desirable.

Work you'll do

As a Consultant:

• Developing business case to assess value for money of major infrastructure projects
• Building financial models to analyse project financing options and project viability
• Building economic CBA and EconIA models and reports and business cases
• Developing PPP strategy and tender documentation for public and private sector side
• Creating detailed proposals and other business development materials
• Present a cogent idea or case using clear and concise messaging, and support using appropriate data and tools
• Effectively interact with colleagues and clients of varying backgrounds to effectively serve clients
• Recognize technology as a business enabler
• Develop and share reusable assets that can be readily applied to new projects

As a Senior Consultant:

• Developing business case to assess value for money of major infrastructure projects
• Building financial models to analyse project financing options and project viability
• Building economic CBA and EconIA models and reports and business cases
• Developing PPP strategy and tender documentation for public and private sector side
• Creating detailed proposals and other business development materials
• Managing client engagement tasks, including billing, WIP and other administration
• Mentoring, coaching and support to junior team members

We are looking for someone with

For a Consultant role:

• At least 2 years of work experience in infrastructure advisory roles for public and/or private sector clients
• Demonstrates an understanding in delivery of large, complex infrastructure projects / major delivery programmes (incl. PPP), with relevant experience as a client, consultant or contractor
• A recognized degree in relevant disciplines, preferably in finance, economics, accounting, engineering, surveying or project management related disciplines
• A professional qualification in finance, accounting, engineering, surveying or project management is an advantage, e.g. CFA, HKICPA, HKIE, ICE, RICIS, PMP, APM or equivalent
• Fluent in English and Cantonese, Mandarin is a bonus
• Demonstrated ability to deliver complex projects
• Proven core consulting skills including: slide design, document story lining, problem solving, analytics, modelling
• Technical skills: strong written and oral communications ability, foster open dialogue amongst the team, strategic thinking, strong organizational capability
• Professional skills: strong networking ability, client management, team management

For a Senior Consultant role:

• At least 4 years of work experience in infrastructure advisory roles for public and/or private sector clients
• Demonstrates a strong understanding in delivery of large, complex infrastructure projects / major delivery programmes (incl. PPP), with relevant experience as a client, consultant or contractor
• A recognized degree in relevant disciplines, preferably in finance, economics, accounting, engineering, surveying or project management related disciplines
• A professional qualification in finance, accounting, engineering, surveying or project management is an advantage, e.g. CFA, HKICPA, HKIE, ICE, RICIS, PMP, APM or equivalent
• Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to multitask, schedule time effectively and digest and convey complex information in an understandable and succinct manner
• Proficient user of MS Office applications (specially, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel – extensive experience with MS PowerPoint and strong modelling experience in MS Excel will be a plus)
• Ability to review and understand key due diligence elements
• Assist in developing and maintaining new and existing client relationships
• Strong analytical skills
• Demonstrated leadership and team-building abilities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluency in English and Cantonese (required), Mandarin a bonus
