The RoleAs a Software Engineer , you will help shape the future of interactive physical gaming and realize Nex's bold vision: "Create the best motion games for hundreds of millions of people to play on." You will build tools and frameworks to bring exciting game ideas to life and coordinate deployments for various platforms including home, game shows, and retail demos.
What You Will Bring- Understanding of bottlenecks and pain points faced by game developers, designers, and engineers.
- Experience building tools to streamline game development from ideation to deployment.

FundPark is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Java Developer / Software Engineer (Low-Code) to take ownership of backend development using the Mendix low-code platform. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, experienced with Mendix, and capable of working independently to drive innovation and support the company's continued growth and success.
What you need to do:
- Responsible for backend development using the Mendix low-code platform. Participate fully in the entire product design and development lifecycle, including requirements review, frontend-backend collaboration, etc., to ensure system quality
- Continuously refactor and optimize the system to improve user experience, system performance, usability, and scalability
- Participate in key technology research for projects, and take on the design, development, and optimization of core modules
- Responsible for developing and encapsulating backend foundational components, exploring and implementing new technologies based on Mendix to enhance development efficiency and system stability
- Maintain and optimize project applications, and perform multi-system integration development according to business needs
- Collaborate with Mendix frontend developers to track the progress of the Mendix system and ensure smooth project delivery
What you need to have:
- Bachelor's degree or Higher diploma in Computer Science or related fields, with over 5 years of relevant work experience in the internet or finance industry
- Strong foundation in Java and good coding practices; familiar with JVM internals, NIO and other core technologies
- Familiar with common open-source frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Mybatis, and have practical experience and understanding of their core principles; proficient in microservice governance frameworks like Dubbo or Spring Cloud; familiar with distributed system technologies such as Redis, RocketMQ, Kafka, Zookeeper, Netty, and other middleware
- Proficient in at least one of MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server, and capable of database design and optimization
- Skilled in basic Linux commands and applications, with strong online issue analysis capabilities; experience with load balancing and high-concurrency, high-availability systems is a plus

What your day will look like
- Design the user experience of new capabilities in the tool
- Write high-quality code to create new features
- Obsess with correctness and robustness of your work for diverse use cases
- Go the extra mile in making sure the software you create addresses a well-defined problem
- Think carefully through implementation strategy from the perspective of performance, quality and security
- Work with teams both inside and outside of Canonical
- You have professional software development experience using Go, Python, C, or C++
- You know Linux system-level fundamentals, e.g. cgroups, namespaces
- You are curious, thoughtful, articulate, and accountable
- Experience with LXC/LXD
- Experience with AI/ML and/or CUDA/OpenVINO
- Knowledge of system and language package managers internals
Your base pay will depend on various factors including your geographical location, level of experience, knowledge and skills. This is a highly unusual opportunity to work on a new open-source developer experience tool. We are rethinking typical developer workflows, trying to preserve what people love about traditional Linux while enabling people to work better in immutable distro environments, as well as with remote cloud resources. You'll join to work on a product that is deeply and securely integrated with Ubuntu desktop, modern IDEs, and SDKs from publishers like NVIDIA, Intel, AMD and others. Our ultimate goal is to free developers from the hours of tedious environment setup across multiple industry domains such as Robotics, MLOps, IoT. The role implies a deep interest in crafting tools for software engineers. It requires taste in experience design, and will benefit from experience with professional Linux based software development, Linux system-level fundamentals and containers.
