Role Description
We are looking for Software Development Engineer to join our development team and participate in the conception and development of next generation flagship products, services and systems for Harmonic's New Media initiative.

You will be based in our Hong Kong R&D Center, one of our global innovation hubs conveniently located above the Mong Kok East Train station. You will be partnering and collaborating with R&D teams across worldwide offices to qualify product development cycles.

What You Will Be Doing

• Implement robust and scalable software-based products and solutions in agile development approach
• Research new technologies, techniques and 3rd party frameworks
• Building innovative product with Harmonic's comprehensive portfolio of video and media products, as well as Cloud base services

What You Should Have

• Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related disciplines
• Knowledge in one of C++, Golang, Java, Javascript or Python programming languages
• Experience in RUST programming is a plus
• Familiar with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Linux, Docker, big data analytic & machine learning is a plus

Job Description:

1. Participate in requirement analysis, system design, and development of the game operations platform, including implementation of new features and optimization of existing functionalities;
2. Develop stable business web service APIs and produce standardized documentation;
3. Develop backend components, integrate with third-party platform APIs, and ensure seamless application integration;

Job Requirements:

AI Development Engineer

Job Description

1) Responsible for the optimization, expansion and product transformation of the company's climate/meteorological large model algorithms.

2) Responsible for data cleaning, training and inference acceleration of large models;

3) Design and maintain a local knowledge base to provide reliable knowledge support for the training and application of large models.

4) Implement the application of large models according to project requirements;

5) Collaborate with project members to solve technical challenges and propose innovative methods to improve the performance of deep learning models.

Preferred Skills and Knowledge

1) Master's degree or above in artificial intelligence/computer science/data science/software engineering or related fields.

2) Familiar with the principles of vector database storage and retrieval, and those with experience in design, distributed deployment and maintenance are preferred.

3) Have an AI technology background and be proficient in using frameworks such as TensorFlow/PyTorch.
