Your role

• Design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and reduce manual processes across various cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Huawei Cloud, Alibaba Cloud).
• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure ensuring performance, reliability, cost optimization, and security compliance.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes to enhance scalability, reliability, and portability.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Monitor infrastructure and application performance, diagnose issues proactively, and implement solutions to maintain system health and stability.
• Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to streamline workflows and ensure cohesive software delivery and maintenance processes.
• Implement and maintain security best practices within cloud environments and DevOps workflows.

To succeed in this role

• 3-5 years of proven experience as a Cloud DevOps Engineer or in a similar DevOps-focused role.
• Strong hands-on expertise with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Huawei Cloud, or Alibaba Cloud).
• Solid experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Demonstrated proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Strong scripting and automation skills using languages such as Python, Bash, or Powershell.
• Practical knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) technologies, including Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Good understanding of network fundamentals, protocols, and security best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Huawei Cloud, or Alibaba Cloud certifications.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.

About the role

As a DevOps engineer, you define and implement both the entire workflow of the Dapp product development and the Security and SRE processes that keep these applications running and scaling 24/7.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with development team to design system architecture
• Improve and manage Terraform, K8S and CI/CD pipeline.
• Develop tools for application and performance monitoring
• Develop and deploy cloud infrastructure in IaC manner.
• Design and implement Disaster Recovery & backup solution,

• Solid experience in AWS / GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes is a must

About your new role!

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with hands-on Azure DevOps experience to join

various projects for our investment bank client. We welcome candidates in other business

domains but are interested to explore systems and business in bank and financial industry.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with development team to setup and build CI/CD pipelines
• Provide advice on workflows setup for code review and code scanning and align with the
• best practices
• Review existing workflows and perform remediation to meet regulatory requirements
• Deploy artifacts to UAT/Staging/Prod environments with proper version control
• Setup integration between ServiceNow and Azure DevOps Board
• Document all the setup procedures and provide guidance walkthrough session

What we'd love to see from you

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in DevOps engineering.
• Experience in CICD and administration on Azure DevOps in a must
• Knowledge on code review and scan tools such as SonarQube
• Strong in C#, .Net and SQL programming is an advantage
• Work experience in projects for finance domain is an advantage
• Passionate on new technologies and always keep learning new skills.
• Good analytic skill and able to work independently.
• Good spoken and written skills in both Chinese and English.
• Good team player; self-initiative, pro-active and ‘can do’ attitude.
