Role Summary
We’re launching a team to explore, pilot and scale digital-asset and tokenization use cases in particular for cross-border payments, real-world asset tokenization and on-chain programmatic finance. Reporting directly to the executive leadership, you will immediately formulate and drive our digital-asset strategy and programs to position the company at the forefront of digital-asset innovation across APAC and beyond. You’ll identify high-impact opportunities in tokenized assets and programmatic finance, build robust business cases, design the organizational structure, then recruit and lead a cross-functional team to deliver pilots and full-scale deployments.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define and champion our overall digital-asset and tokenization roadmap to the Executive Leadership.
- Architect the organizational model: recruit, mentor and manage a multi-disciplinary team (product, engineering, compliance, etc.).
Community & Ecosystem Engagement
- Represent the company in digital-asset and DeFi forums, regulatory roundtables and industry consortia.
- Identify partnership, pilot and M&A opportunities across APAC.
Opportunity Assessment & Business Cases
- Conduct market, competitor and on-chain analytics to uncover high-ROI use cases (e.g., programmable cross-border rails, tokenized trade finance).
- Develop concise proposals with financial models, risk/regulatory assessments and go-to-market plans.
Token Economics & Treasury
- Design token frameworks, reserve management approaches and issuance models.
- Collaborate with Treasury and Compliance to establish appropriate collateralization, attestation and KYC/AML safeguards.
Program Delivery & Governance
- Secure cross-functional alignment (Legal, Finance, IT, Operations).
- Craft program roadmaps, oversee proofs-of-concept, then transition successful pilots into live offerings.
- Define and articulate product positioning, value propositions and messaging that resonate with target audiences.
- Plan and execute launch strategies—including marketing campaigns and sales enablement materials—to ensure consistent messaging across channels.
Measurement & Reporting
- Establish and track KPIs (e.g., settlement speed, cost efficiency, TVL, user adoption) and report progress quarterly to the Executive Committee.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years in digital-asset strategy, product management or business development, ideally at a crypto exchange, fintech or tokenization platform.
- Deep understanding of token mechanics, DeFi protocols and industry standards.
- Proven executive-level communication: board presentations, regulatory engagement and leadership in industry working groups.
- Demonstrated success building teams from the ground up and delivering complex, cross-border pilots.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with central bank digital currency pilots or advisory roles.
- Established network within APAC regulatory bodies (MAS, SFC, HKMA).
- Technical fluency with smart contracts (e.g., ERC-20/CW-20), oracles and bridge infrastructure.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin for effective regional collaboration.
- Sound financial-analytical skills: P&L modeling, capital-efficiency analysis and reserve management.
- Seniority level Mid-Senior level
- Employment type Full-time
- Job function Consulting, Product Management, and Finance
- Industries IT Services and IT Consulting, Manufacturing, and Financial Services
