Responsibilities

Job Summary

Assist Group Functional Head, Group Portfolio Leads, HoD and Audit Lead in the delivery of their roles and responsibilities, and to manage the assigned audits to ensure that individual audits are delivered on time, on budget, to the required standards and to provide value to the OCBC Group.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Participate in the development and maintenance of a) Audit methodology and procedures to provide independent assurance over IT activities, data governance and management, and banking operations; b) Knowledge of leading practices of existing and new IT activities and banking operations.
  • Participate in the audit process and procedures to provide independent assessment of IT activities and banking operations, and evaluate the governance framework, risk management, regulatory compliance processes and internal controls systems
  • Participate in the handling of special assignments (e.g. investigations, advisory and other ad-hoc/special projects).
  • Work in conjunction with Technology Division, Operations Division, Chief Operating Officer Divisional Office, Data Management Office and Information Security & Digital Risk Management, and assist to: a) Keep abreast of emerging risks/concerns; b) Maintain a good working relationship to enforce the role of IAD as an independent partner to build trust and transparency; c) Monitor changes in risk management and/or all major new developments; d) and Monitor the implementation and progress of audit recommendations.
  • Make use of data analytics skill to improve the audit effectiveness and efficiency for audit engagements.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related disciplines
  • CISA is preferred (required for Manager)
  • CISSP or other IT security qualification is preferred
  • 1 - 6 years of experience in IT audit or other IT risk control functions, preferably in financial industry, working experience in auditing banking operations such as account services, payment operations is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of IT operations, project development, network, computer platforms and programming
  • Good knowledge of control requirements of banking industry and external applicable rules and regulations
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel
  • Good data analytical skill, sound knowledge of Python, Power BI or other data analytics tool is preferred

We are hiring for one of our ecosystem projects. Our client is a NYSE listed company that has transitioned from the F&B sector into a forward-looking digital asset strategy.

They are seeking a Digital Asset Operations Manager to lead the crypto operations and infrastructure setup. You will own and oversee the company's end-to-end digital asset operations, from setting up secure custodial solutions and managing on/off ramps, to executing buy/sell transactions and evaluating service providers. This individual will act as the operational backbone of their digital asset treasury, ensuring robust processes, compliance, and financial alignment. The ideal candidate combines hands-on crypto operations experience with an understanding of financial operations (FinOps) and treasury management strategies.

In This Role, You Will

  • Oversee BTC treasury operations, including acquisition, custody, transfer, and liquidation.
  • Execute buy/sell orders across exchanges, OTC desks, and custodians with accuracy and compliance.
  • Set up and maintain secure wallet infrastructure (hot, cold, multi-sig, custodian accounts).
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage third-party service providers (custodians, exchanges, liquidity partners).
  • Establish reliable fiat-to-crypto and crypto-to-fiat channels.
  • Optimize transaction flows for efficiency, speed, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure operational compliance with applicable KYC/AML regulations.
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate reconciliation, reporting, and audits.
  • Track and analyze digital asset positions, cash flows, and risks.
  • Stay informed on new digital asset products (ETFs, derivatives, structured products, lending platforms).
  • Advise management on potential treasury strategies leveraging innovative crypto products.

You Might Thrive In This Role If You Have

  • 2+ years of professional experience in crypto/digital asset operations, treasury, or exchange operations.
  • Proven track record in managing custodial wallets, on/off ramp processes, and crypto transactions.
  • Strong knowledge of Web3 ecosystem, exchanges, custodians, and DeFi/CeFi products.
  • Solid understanding of financial operations, treasury, and accounting integration.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail, process-driven mindset, and risk awareness.

  • Manage daily fund operations including subscriptions/redemptions, share registry, and fiat/crypto settlements.
  • Design and implement compliant operational workflows (e.g., AML/KYC for on-chain transactions, VASP licensing support).
  • NAV Calculation & Valuation
  • Lead Net Asset Value (NAV) computation for crypto funds, covering:
  • Cryptocurrency valuation using fair-value models (CMC/CoinGecko APIs or proprietary pricing).
  • Accounting for fiat hedges and derivatives positions.
  • Coordinate with auditors for quarterly/annual financial reporting (GAAP/IFRS compliance).
  • Liquidity & Risk Oversight
  • Monitor on-chain/CEX liquidity flows, reconciling balances with custodians (Fireblocks/Copper) and market makers.
  • Proactively identify operational risks (e.g., exchange insolvency, blockchain congestion) and implement mitigation plans.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Portfolio Managers (PMs) to ensure accurate trade booking (DeFi yields, staking rewards).
  • Support Compliance teams in regulatory filings (e.g., Hong Kong VASP licensing, FATF Travel Rule).

Qualifications

  • Experience
  • 3+ years in fund operations, custody, or crypto back-office roles, with exposure to traditional fund accounting (TA/FA modules).
  • Hands-on experience in crypto asset valuation (custom pricing models or market data APIs).
  • Technical Skills
  • Advanced Excel/Sheets (VLOOKUP, PivotTables); SQL/Python is a plus.
  • Familiarity with blockchain explorers (Etherscan), multisig wallets, and smart contract interactions.
  • Preferred Credentials
  • CFA/FRM certification.
  • Experience with Chainalysis, TRM Labs, or other blockchain analytics tools.
