Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, monitor, and support server environments (Ubuntu and Windows Server), virtual machines, and Docker containers.
- Perform cybersecurity tasks: vulnerability scanning, patch management, inventory control, and SSL certificate management.
- Manage virtual machines using VMware.
- Participate in Library projects, Library committees, Library task forces, and Library shift counter duties.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in Ubuntu, Windows Server, Apache, shell scripting, and PowerShell.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity tools (e.g., Acunetix, Nessus Scan), cybersecurity practices, and SSL certificate management.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in academic or library settings is advantageous.
- Experience in managing resources in VMware and Docker environments.
- Familiarity with automation tools (Power Automate, n8n).
