Reporting To The Director Of Information Technology, The Associate Director Of Information Technology Is a Key Position In Developing IT Plans, Strategies, And Infrastructure To Meet The Vision And Mission Of The University And For a Long-term Sustainable Development. The Appointee Shall
- work in close collaboration with the Director of Information Technology in providing leadership, direction, and guidance to ITSC;
- consult with various academic faculties and administrative support units and put forward insights and solutions on various IT needs;
- budget, plan, manage resources and vendors for different IT related projects;
- perform the management, coordination, and supervision of technology related construction events for the University;
- ensure the provision of adequate information systems and data support to staff and students to meet teaching, research and administration needs;
- oversee the information security operations of the University; and
- direct the development and provision of computer equipment and software.
- possess a recognised bachelor’s degree or relevant qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline;
- have a substantial record of successful project management and effective leadership at the management level in sizable organisations;
- have solid experience in IT infrastructure, network and system management, application development, AI technology, information security operations, and technical support;
- preferably have knowledge of administrative practices in the tertiary education sector;
- have knowledge of Virtual Production Technology and Extended Reality Technology will be advantageous; and
- possess strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

As a Director/Executive Director - M&A, your main responsibilities will include:
End-to-End Control Buyout Execution
As a Core Member Of The Fund Team, You Will Lead Or Be Deeply Involved In The Full Lifecycle Of Control Buyout (Buyout / LBO) Transactions, Including
- Conducting market and industry research to identify investment opportunities
- Building financial models and performing valuation analysis
- Designing acquisition structures (e.g., leverage, voting rights, management incentives)
- Independently preparing and presenting investment committee materials (e.g., business rationale, deal structure, financial forecasts, exit strategies)
- Managing due diligence and negotiating deal terms
- Overseeing transaction closing and post-deal integration
Support the development of platform acquisition strategies and drive value creation through:
- Collaborating with management teams on operational improvements, profitability enhancement, organizational restructuring, and financial governance
- Planning exit strategies (e.g., strategic sale, secondary PE exit, IPO) and managing timing and execution
- Monitoring portfolio company performance and reporting to fund leadership and LPs
Work with partners to shape the fund's investment strategy, focusing on core sectors:
- Build deep industry knowledge and a proprietary investment database and business development network
- Develop sector-specific analytical models, track leading companies, and manage deal pipelines
As a key team member, help build and scale the M&A investment team:
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level team members
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and IR teams to enhance operational efficiency
- Contribute to standardizing investment processes (pre-investment, execution, post-investment, compliance) and shaping organizational culture
A Successful Director/Executive Director - M&A Should Have
- Bachelor's degree or above; majors in finance, accounting, engineering, or law preferred; MBA or relevant graduate degree is a plus
- 8-12 years of experience in M&A at a private equity fund or investment bank; minority or non-control investments are less relevant for this role
- Native Mandarin and fluent english
- Proven track record in leading control deals or LBOs, with hands-on experience in deal structuring and post-investment management
- Familiarity with Cayman/Hong Kong fund structures, investment committee processes, compliance, valuation, and operations is a plus
- Strategic industry insight, especially in manufacturing, industrial tech, or consumer sectors, is highly valued
- Strong financial modeling skills (including LBO, post-integration forecasts, and exit case modeling)
- Excellent commercial acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to link deals to broader industry dynamics
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English
- Experience in fundraising or LP communications (e.g., PPM drafting, Q&A, roadshows) is a plus

Position Overview
The Commercial Director will spearhead Conrad Hong Kong’s commercial strategy, driving revenue growth and market share through innovative sales, marketing, and revenue management initiatives. Leading a dynamic team, this role ensures the hotel’s competitive edge by optimizing business performance across all segments while fostering strong client and stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute holistic sales and marketing strategies to maximize revenue, profitability, and market positioning. Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team across sales, marketing, catering, and reservations.
- Revenue Optimization: Collaborate with Cluster Revenue Managers to refine pricing strategies, demand forecasting, and business mix, ensuring agile responses to market fluctuations.
- Market Expansion: Design and implement targeted (digital) marketing campaigns, with a focus on expanding the hotel’s footprint in Mainland China and other key markets.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and performance metrics to refine strategies and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate partnerships with top clients, industry stakeholders and OTA partners to drive loyalty and revenue growth.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with F&B, Health Club, and other departments to align commercial strategies with broader hotel objectives. Serve as a key advisor to the executive team, presenting insights and actionable recommendations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong alignment with Hilton’s regional teams on brand initiatives, loyalty programs and market-specific campaigns. Actively contribute to commercial reviews, including ownership meetings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in hospitality sales and marketing, with a proven track record of revenue growth and market expansion.
- Strategic thinker with expertise in market analysis, pricing strategies and digital marketing. Deep knowledge of Mainland China’s travel market and consumer behaviour is a plus.
- Inspirational leader with exceptional team-building and coaching abilities.
