About The Role

Brand Management

Team And Budget Management

Minimum Job Requirements

  • University degree holder or above, preferably in journalism, communications, PR & marketing discipline.
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in corporate communications and/or public and media relations. Experience in insurance industry is an advantage.
  • Proven track record in leading communications and reputation management
  • Demonstrate curiosity and eagerness to keep abreast of the latest market trends
  • Excellent time management and project management skills

  • Excellent network with international and local media, strong relationship with key opinion leaders

The Candidate

  • A bachelor's degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications or related filed is required; an advanced degree is preferred
  • Minimum 15 years' relevant experience with at least 8 years' management experience leading a sizable team in corporate marketing communications or public relations management, preferably gained in MNC
  • Excellent network with international and local media, strong relationship with key opinion leaders
  • Proven track record in issues/crisis management and stakeholder management with good knowledge in executive communications
  • Energetic, flexible, collaborative, proactive. Creative and thoughtful on how new media technologies can be utilized
  • A confident and persuasive team leader able to work strategically and operationally; drive performance and change; collaborate and work well in a dynamic and rapidly changing workplace
  • Experience in building, leading, mentoring, and coaching a team of communications specialists
  • Work experience in the I&T industry will be an advantage
  • Excellent proficiency in both verbal and written English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Putonghua
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Director

Role Overview

As the 
Marketing Manager – Corporate Communications & Group Marketing
, you'll be responsible for shaping and executing the overarching group-level marketing and communications strategy. You'll oversee GEG's corporate voice across all external channels, manage PR and media relations, craft B2B outreach campaigns, lead our LinkedIn strategy, and own award submissions. This is a high-impact, strategic role that blends storytelling with commercial thinking.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Communications & Brand Positioning

  • Develop and implement an overall ongoing corporate communications strategy for GEG across all channels.
  • Act as a brand guardian for GEG, ensuring consistent tone, messaging, and visual identity.
  • Lead the maintenance and updating of corporate messaging frameworks, boilerplates, and media kits.

Public Relations

  • Develop and manage GEG's PR strategy in collaboration with external agencies or internal teams.
  • Write and distribute press releases, media kits, and editorials.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key industry journalists and media outlets.

LinkedIn & Thought Leadership

  • Lead the development of a LinkedIn content calendar and strategy to grow GEG's corporate following and engagement.
  • Position GEG executives and leaders as thought leaders through posts, interviews, and content support
  • Monitor LinkedIn analytics to measure impact and optimize performance.

Group Marketing Strategy

  • Define and implement a group-level marketing strategy aligned with GEG's business goals.
  • Collaborate with marketing leads across subsidiaries to ensure brand alignment and cross-promotion.
  • Coordinate campaigns that promote GEG's collective strengths and achievements.

B2B Outreach & Marketing Collateral

  • Create impactful B2B marketing materials, including pitch decks, case studies, and brochures.
  • Represent GEG at key industry events and networking opportunities.

Award Submissions & Industry Recognition

  • Research, plan, and manage award submission calendars across the group.
  • Write and coordinate compelling award entries that showcase GEG's innovation and impact.
  • Track and leverage award wins for PR and marketing amplification.

Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or a similar role, ideally within entertainment, media, or B2B sectors.
  • Proven track record in internal communications, PR, and strategic marketing planning.
  • Excellent copywriting, storytelling, and editing skills.
  • Strong understanding of LinkedIn as a brand-building and B2B engagement tool.
  • Experience managing award submissions and external communications.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic design experience and skills is a plus.
