Why your role matters

The Post-Doctoral Fellow (Level B) will carry out independent and/or team research within the field in which they are appointed and to carry out activities to develop their research expertise relevant to their particular field of research.

You will be undertaking research that is closely related to the overseas studies in which you have recently completed. You will contribute theoretical and/or practical knowledge to the research project derived from your studies.

The role of Post-Doctoral Fellow reports to the Scientia Professor and has no direct reports.

Accountabilities Specific For This Role Include

  • Engage in individual and/or collaborative research in a manner consistent with disciplinary practice.
  • Create scholarly impact in the discipline which is recognised by peers in the advancement of disciplinary knowledge.
  • Conduct research/scholarly activities under limited supervision, either independently or as a member of a team (as per the norms of the discipline).
  • Establish a personal research portfolio and start developing independent research proposals.
  • Contribute to the development of applications for competitive funding under the guidance of senior colleagues


Skills And Experience

  • Fluency in French and German
  • Significant experience in collection and digitization of original Archives
  • Proficiency in R, Python, Stata
  • A PhD in Economics
  • Proven commitment to proactively keeping up to date with discipline knowledge and developments.
  • Demonstrated track record in research with outcomes of high quality and high impact with clear evidence of the desire and ability to continually achieve research excellence as well as the capacity for research leadership.
  • A track record of significant involvement with the profession and/or industry.

Post-doctoral Fellow / Research Associate (C2i107-P1)

Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow / Research Associate in the Program 1 of Centre of Immunology & Infection to commence as soon as possible on a one-year temporary basis or two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and mutual agreement. The successful candidate will contribute to cutting-edge projects involving multi-omics big data analysis, with a focus on immunology, genomics, and translational biomedical research.

Requirements

  • A Ph.D. or M.Phil. (by research) in Biomedical Sciences, Immunology, Genomic Studies, Biochemistry, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in applying biostatistical models to multi-omics datasets (e.g., genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics) is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in R, Python, AI platform integration or other statistical programming languages is an advantage.
  • Experience with high-throughput data analysis (e.g., NGS, Genotyping).
  • Familiarity with data integration techniques across omics layers.
  • Proficiency in data visualization and interpretation.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct integrative analysis of multi-omics datasets to identify biomarkers and therapeutic targets.

Centre for Virology, Vaccinology and Therapeutics Limited

On-site Full Time Contract Entry level

Post-doctoral Fellow in Virology and Vaccinology

Ref.: CVVT/2025/PDF/D09 (Starting as soon as possible for 3 years)

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Bioinformatics, Computing/Programming, or a related field. The appointee will collaborate with research teams focusing on protein modeling and de-novo protein design. Experience with PMNN, ESM2, and RFdiffusion is advantageous.

A highly competitive salary, commensurate with qualifications and experience, will be offered, along with annual leave and medical benefits.
