- Plan, deliver and evaluate the individualized care program to patients and families across in-patient;

Entry Requirements:
- A valid Registered Nurse practicing certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong

- Candidate with specialty training in palliative care is preferable

- Proficiency in spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin

Job purpose:
Hong Kong Red Cross is launching a 5-year project on Infection Control Training and Support for Sectors. It aims to strengthen the knowledge and skills of frontline workers on infection control and prevention, and the capacity of managerial staff in dealing with infectious disease outbreak.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Nursing Officer (Project In-charge) to plan, develop, deliver and evaluate the training programs, health consultation and support services to targeted service users in improving their knowledge and skills of infection control measures in their working premises or designated training sites.
- Develop the infection control training materials, conduct relevant training and support services to the targeted service users
- Assist in infection control promotion to boost public health and enhance the public's awareness of infectious disease prevention and resilience in dealing with infectious diseases.
- Assist the Nursing Officer to establish and maintain effective relationship with internal and external parties, including funders, collaborating partners, service users and NGOs etc.
- Support the Nursing Officer to assure quality and make recommendation for continuous improvement on the training and service provisions of the project.
- Lead and support coworkers of lower rank and/ or volunteers in providing quality health education programs of the project
- Carry out other duties deemed pertinent to achieving the goals of the project as assigned by the Nursing Officer.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (Hong Kong Nursing Council) with valid practicing certificate is a must
- Graduate of tertiary education level or above, with minimum of 3 years post-registration working experience
- Sound knowledge in health and Infection control training is preferrable
- Experience in community setting or residential care service is a definite asset
- Excellent in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Good Putonghua is preferrable)
- Being service and client oriented, mature, analytical, having good communication, presentation and training delivery skills
- Able to work both independently and within team, with strong sense of self-initiation
- Occasionally require working in non-office hours in weekdays and/or on Saturdays.
