As the Assistant Editorial Manager at Centaline Property Hong Kong, you will drive the creation and refinement of digital and social media content to enhance the company’s market presence. This role demands strong editorial expertise, creative storytelling, and a deep understanding of the real estate industry to deliver compelling content for audiences in Hong Kong and Mainland China. You will support the content team, collaborate with designers and video specialists, and ensure all content aligns with marketing goals and brand standards.
Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Ideation
- Support the development of a cohesive content strategy aligned with Centaline Property Hong Kong’s brand voice and marketing objectives
- Craft audience-focused narratives for platforms including social media, blogs, websites, and email campaigns
- Monitor real estate market trends to produce timely and relevant content
- Contribute to the brand narrative and long-term content strategy to reinforce Centaline’s market leadership
- Edit and refine multimedia content for social media and digital advertising, optimized for platforms like WeChat, Weibo, Xiaohongshu, Douyin, Instagram, and Facebook
- Collaborate with designers and video teams to ensure high-quality visuals, including graphics, videos, and animations
- Oversee and edit copywriting for digital channels, ensuring persuasive, bilingual (Chinese and English) content for advertising, social media, CRM, and SEM campaigns
- Ensure all consumer-facing content resonates with target audiences and maintains brand consistency
- Work across-functionally to align content with broader business objectives
- Utilize deep knowledge of the property market to create content showcasing Centaline’s expertise, listings, and market insights
- Develop narratives around property trends, investment opportunities, and buyer/seller needs
- Analyze content performance using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and YouTube Studio
- Use data insights to optimize content strategies
- Stay updated on market trends and news, integrating relevant updates into content to maintain a competitive edge
- Monitor competitor activities and market updates to identify strategic content opportunities
- Uphold Centaline’s brand identity across all content, ensuring alignment with branding guidelines and tone
- Ensure editorial consistency and excellence in all campaigns and materials
- Over 10 years of proven experience in editorial lead, content creation, and editing within digital marketing for the real estate, property or related industry. Less experienced candidates will be considered for the Senior Editor role.
- In-depth knowledge of Hong Kong’s property and real estate market, including trends, regulations, market dynamics, and consumer behavior
- Thorough understanding of the property industry customer lifecycle, including awareness, consideration, decision-making, and post-purchase engagement
- Exceptional editorial expertise in developing and refining market commentary and thought leadership content
- Extensive experience in overseeing and editing digital content for social media, websites, and marketing channels, targeting audiences in Hong Kong and China
- Advanced storytelling and creative skills to develop compelling narratives and content from scratch
- Proficiency in SEO, SEM, and digital marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite), MS Office
- Other AI tool for editorial / visual development
