Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL), as the owner of the FSRU vessel, provides operations and maintenance (O&M) services for the offshore jetty platform. The Jetty O&M team consists of an onshore team and an offshore team of Supervisors and Operators.

A Snapshot
As the Electrical Systems Specialist on site, reporting directly to the Associate Director - Electrical Systems, you will work closely with the DC Operations and Development teams making your mark in a number of ways:
- Lead high voltage switching operations across all Hong Kong sites and apply an accepted methodology to ensure the safe operation of all high-voltage equipment.
- Engaging with our General Contractors, and our DC operations team to develop Methods of Procedures (MOPs) to ensure they meet risk mitigation and safety requirements.
- Work with the commissioning team to deliver, technically accurate and timely projects for our customers.
- Provide technical support for our Low Voltage equipment to our operations team.
- Attend factory witness testing. This will be in Hong Kong or outside of Hong Kong for both MV or Low voltage equipment.
Your Day to Day
- Author high voltage switching instructions and then lead a peer review session to confirm the accuracy of the switching procedure.
- Prepare or review MOPS (Method of Procedure) for construction based electrical integration works.
- Review and assist in MOP preparation from other related partners. This could be either MV or LV works.
- Carry out Medium Voltage switching with our local DC operations team on our Hong Kong sites.
- Lead the maintenance and inspection of the high voltage and low voltage switchgear and transformers (11kV down to 380 V).
- Lead the maintenance and inspection of the low voltage network, this includes Generators, UPS's including DC systems and Busways.
- Assist our commissioning team with electrical-related apparatus. This includes high voltage apparatus, kiosks, low voltage generators, or uninterruptible power supplies.
- Assist in design reviews for new projects within Hong Kong.
- Have a detailed working knowledge of our low Voltage Infrastructure. This equipment will include Kiosk Transformers, low voltage generators, PTU, (uninterruptable power supplies), Busways and other low voltage equipment.
- Have a strong understanding of Hong Kong statutory electrical codes.
- Assist AirTrunk's Safety team during incident investigations, by supplying technical mentorship.
Requirements
- Has minimally 8years of proven experience in safely performing High Voltage switching operations and Low Voltage equipment.
- Electrical License requirements are Cat H0 required with C0.
- A sound technical knowledge of MV and LV systems. These could include EHV, MV, LV Generators, PTU's (UPS's) and Automatic transfer Switches functionality.
- Good communication in both written and verbal for both English and Mandarin/Cantonese.
- An understanding of Power quality.
- Be able to read and interpret single line diagrams, technical diagrams / systems and be able to communicate these systems and functions to them to non-technical colleagues.
- A basic understanding of our HVAC and mechanical systems.
- Be a good communicator during technical meetings. This communication skill is also important to pass on Operational requirements to our Projects teams and our GC's.
- Can express on behalf of our operations teams any potential design issues (Very important during design stages with respect to replacement strategies of OSE equipment.
- Be able assist our Safety team with electrical (technical or non-Technical). This could be both in reviewing an incident or site preparation.
- Willingness to travel to AirTrunk's Hong Kong sites and APAC region as and when needed.
