The Role
We're looking for a part-time Email Marketing Specialist to set up, optimize, and own our email/CRM channel. This is a ground-up opportunity: while we have a list, email is not yet a major revenue driver — you'll be the person to change that. Your mission:
build campaigns and flows that engage customers, drive conversions, and make email a core revenue channel for the business.
Initially a part-time role, this position has the potential to grow into a full-time role if it's a strong fit for both sides.
What You'll Do
- Own the email/CRM channel end-to-end across strategy and execution, including campaigns, flows, segmentation, and list health
- Create and manage the campaign calendar, including generating campaign ideas, drafting content, and coordinating with design support as needed
- Set up and optimize core flows in Klaviyo (e.g., welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, win-back) and iterate for higher ROI
- Write copy for subject lines, CTAs, and body content; build and deploy campaigns in Klaviyo with accurate segmentation and targeting
- Monitor list capture and deliverability, ensuring list health and ongoing growth
- Track and report performance (open rates, CTR, conversions, revenue impact), and use insights to drive continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of DTC email marketing experience (in-house or agency)
- Strong Klaviyo expertise: automations, segmentation, A/B testing, and reporting
- Excellent copywriting skills tailored to eCommerce audiences
- Analytical mindset: comfortable working with metrics and translating them into actionable insights
- Organized and detail-oriented; capable of running the channel autonomously from strategy through execution
Nice to Have
- Experience with SMS marketing (Klaviyo or similar)
- Familiarity with broader retention strategies and A/B testing tools
- Basic HTML/CSS for troubleshooting
