Responsibilities
- Ensure the plant and equipment operate in a safe and effective manner
- Safeguard the health and safety of staff in the workplace to comply with the requirements of good working practice according to the OSH Ordinance (Cap. 509)
- Ensure the hospital safety management system aligns with the requirement of Joint Commission International (JCI) Accreditation Standards for Hospital
- Liaise with external parties such as Labour Department (LD), Fire Service Department (FSD) on safety, staff training and licensing issue.
- Ensure safety inspections are conducted and its improvement measures implemented and evaluated.
- Promote in-house occupational safety management system and initiate improvements as necessary.
- Monitor hazards and incidents in work areas and assist departments to resolve any OSH-related issues.
- Ensure the chemical safety of the hospital, including register of hazardous substance, contingency plan for emergency situations and chemical waste disposal.
- Bachelor Degree is required
- Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health is preferable
- 4 years of related working experience
- Related experience in medical industry will be an advanced
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
- Responsible, self-motivated and able to work independently

Job Description
We are now looking for a Hiring & Quality Coordinator to join our team that works with our couriers. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that foodpanda meets our goals in terms of quality and efficiency. The Logistics department is responsible for the entire lifecycle of our couriers – from recruitment and onboarding to engagement and reactivation – while also ensuring that every courier has a positive experience with foodpanda.
As a Hiring & Quality Coordinator, you will not only be responsible have the responsibility for recruiting couriers, you will also be in charge of ensuring good quality of service provided through rider compliance. This includes everything from processing of leads to onboarding to and monitoring and investigating breaches in compliance, with a clear goal of ensuring we have enough qualified couriers on the platform to deliver the quality our customers expect when they order from foodpanda.
This role is open only to HK Locals/PRs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that our courier recruitment processes are effective, up-to-date, and of high quality
- Implement strategies for rider acquisition and onboarding to ensure seamless integration of new riders.
- Ensure a steady inflow of potential couriers, ensuring smooth onboarding processes and document compliance
- Monitor rider compliance and investigate breaches or appeals where necessary
- Ensure accurate reporting and documentation
- Track your KPIs and ensure they are met
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a holistic approach to recruitment and compliance
- Support daily operations within the rider hub to enhance operational efficiency.
- Enforce compliance policies to mitigate incidents and uphold operational standards.
- Minimum 1 year of proven experience in Customer Service, admin, operations or HR roles, ideally within logistics, e-commerce, or tech industries.
- Experience working with KPIs and performance management
- Have knowledge of G-suite and a plus to have SQL/BigQuery
- Strong attention to detail, able to demonstrate logical mindset and accountability

How you’ll help us make health happen:
- Deliver sales of international private medical insurance (IPMI) to eligible clients introduced by Relationship Managers, both face-to-face and via digital channels.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with our partner’s Relationship Managers, providing training and guidance on Bupa products and referral protocols
- Perform light medical underwriting screening and triage, identifying cases that require specialist underwriting referral.
- Provide tailored recommendations and detailed product education to clients, aligned with individual health, lifestyle and family needs
- Guide applicants through the full onboarding process including quotation, documentation, application, and issue of cover.

- Proven experience in selling or advising on international or domestic health insurance, life assurance, financial protection, or other regulated products.
- Demonstrated success in client-facing roles involving affluent or high net worth individuals
- Background in working within or alongside banks, wealth managers, IFAs or financial services providers preferred.
- Ability to navigate sales and operational processes within highly regulated industries.
- Experience conducting needs-based sales conversations in a professional and culturally sensitive manner.
- Certification or license to sell insurance in the relevant local market or willingness to obtain prior to appointment.
- Ongoing CPD as required by local health or insurance authorities.
- Fluency in English essential; Cantonese or Mandarin highly desirable depending on market

To act as the key sales interface between Bupa Global and our partner’s private and priority private banking teams by providing expert advice, education and tailored sales of Bupa’s premium international private medical insurance to eligible high net worth clients.
The Health Insurance Specialist is a key role and will work directly with the partner’s Relationship Managers (RMs), supporting them in educating, identifying, qualifying, and converting client interest into successful applications.
The role includes onboarding, eligibility screening and relationship building to deliver outstanding customer experience aligned with Bupa’s global standards.
How You’ll Help Us Make Health Happen
- Deliver sales of international private medical insurance (IPMI) to eligible clients introduced by Relationship Managers, both face-to-face and via digital channels.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with our partner’s Relationship Managers, providing training and guidance on Bupa products and referral protocols
- Perform light medical underwriting screening and triage, identifying cases that require specialist underwriting referral.
- Provide tailored recommendations and detailed product education to clients, aligned with individual health, lifestyle and family needs
- Guide applicants through the full onboarding process including quotation, documentation, application, and issue of cover.
- Maintain full compliance with local regulatory requirements for licensed health insurance sales, including record keeping and client disclosures.
- Collaborate closely with Bupa Global underwriting, compliance, and operational teams to ensure smooth case progression.
- Actively contribute to local sales targets, pipeline reporting, and client servicing goals.
- Support feedback loops between Bupa and partner to enhance product-market fit and client satisfaction.
- Occasional work from Bupa Global or Bupa Hong Kong head office.
- Expected to travel locally within city regions to banking centres; flexibility for some remote/digital consultations depending on client preference
- May require irregular hours to meet with clients based on availability.
- Proficiency in CRM and digital sales tools is essential.
- Proven experience in selling or advising on international or domestic health insurance, life assurance, financial protection, or other regulated products.
- Demonstrated success in client-facing roles involving affluent or high net worth individuals
- Background in working within or alongside banks, wealth managers, IFAs or financial services providers preferred.
- Ability to navigate sales and operational processes within highly regulated industries.
- Experience conducting needs-based sales conversations in a professional and culturally sensitive manner.
- Certification or license to sell insurance in the relevant local market or willingness to obtain prior to appointment.
- Ongoing CPD as required by local health or insurance authorities.
- Fluency in English essential; Cantonese or Mandarin highly desirable depending on market
