Worldly is seeking an Onboarding Specialist to help drive customer loyalty by setting them up for success through their implementation of Wordly solutions. Reporting to the Director, Client Success & Support, you will foster strong client relationships by providing exceptional customer service, being the primary point of contact for clients during their initial moments with Wordly, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet and exceed client expectations. What you’ll be doing:
Onboarding new clients.

- Serve as the customer’s main point of contact through their initial onboarding. You’ll deeply understand their business and technical needs.
- Own the onboarding process, working with clients and partnering with our internal teams to ensure a successful client onboarding timeline.
- Lead Onboarding kick-offs, training workshops, escalation calls, and ad-hoc meetings as required.
- Train customers in their use of the platform by leading coaching sessions, and answering questions via video and e-mail
- Provide technical and consultative support to our customers
- Guide customers on best practices when using Wordly
- Assist the Customer Success Team with workflows and data for accurate tracking and reporting to different stakeholders.
- Act as an advocate on behalf of the customer and as an expert, offering in-depth and first-hand understanding of their experience and product needs
- Develop, improve, and innovate the onboarding playbook
- Answering emails and chats for some of our customers
- Investigation and troubleshooting of situations from customers
- Answering our 24/7 emergency line on a rotating basis

- handle case preparation by preparing documents s relevant for onboarding and reviewing external client forms to ensure document quality control
- responsible for timely reply on client advisor queries. Facilitate exceptional handling on risk-based approach, and coordinate with Business and Financial Crime / Compliance for signoff
- perform background check screening on the client, create client profile with client advisor, and gather corroboration evidence material. Support client advisor to ensure regulatory compliance of submitted materials from client and client advisor
- handle Periodic KYC Review (PKR) case review from start to end, including client profile updates after consulting with client advisor. Further, perform KYC profile checking activities linked to client onboarding requests and ensure client KYC information consistency with PKR Quality Checks
- support client advisor on non-KYC aspects of PKR (i.e. file conversion for archival, raise additional name search request to middle office, escalate for Due Diligence Officer (DDO) review, PKR case manager management…)

This role will be part of the Wealth Management (WM) Market in Hong Kong and you’ll be working in the Front Support Office’s Onboarding & KYC Competence Center in Hong Kong. We conduct AML KYC/Client Due Diligence (CDD) on WM clients in line with the regulatory requirements and UBS group policies. The scope of work includes liaising with client advisors, business, and internal stakeholders to ensure that the account can be opened upon completion of KYC and maintained through PKR over the course of the business relationship. You are at the center of the execution of onboarding and PKR requirements and you will act as a business enabler to help UBS generate revenue.
Your expertise
- 2 to 6 years of experience in Wealth management Periodic KYC Review and/or Onboarding
- proven experience in client service (ideally in banking). Highly proactive and diligent in follow up and follow through. Client focused, organized at bundling of requests and sensible on turnaround time
- good communication and presentation skills and ability to communicate to various levels of the organization
- broad understanding of KYC/AML and have a general sense of risk awareness together with a structured and logical approach to analysis and problem-solving. Risk conscious with emphasis on sensitive data sharing

- handle Periodic KYC Review (PKR) case review from start to end, including client profile updates after consulting with client advisor. Further, perform KYC profile checking activities linked to client onboarding requests and ensure client KYC information consistency with PKR Quality Checks
- support client advisor on non-KYC aspects of PKR (i.e. file conversion for archival, raise additional name search request to middle office, escalate for Due Diligence Officer (DDO) review, PKR case manager management…)
- think flexibly to propose new ideas and contribute to continuous improvement of processes and services
This role will be part of the Wealth Management (WM) Market in Hong Kong and you’ll be working in the Front Support Office’s Onboarding & KYC Competence Center in Hong Kong. We conduct AML KYC/Client Due Diligence (CDD) on WM clients in line with the regulatory requirements and UBS group policies. The scope of work includes liaising with client advisors, business, and internal stakeholders to ensure that the account can be opened upon completion of KYC and maintained through PKR over the course of the business relationship. You are at the center of the execution of onboarding and PKR requirements and you will act as a business enabler to help UBS generate revenue.
Your expertise
- 2 to 6 years of experience in Wealth management Periodic KYC Review and/or Onboarding
- proven experience in client service (ideally in banking). Highly proactive and diligent in follow up and follow through. Client focused, organized at bundling of requests and sensible on turnaround time
- good communication and presentation skills and ability to communicate to various levels of the organization
- broad understanding of KYC/AML and have a general sense of risk awareness together with a structured and logical approach to analysis and problem-solving. Risk conscious with emphasis on sensitive data sharing

Requirement Retail Client Vetting (KYC Only)
- Conduct lightning-fast but thorough KYC for retail traders by:
- Verifying individual identities (passports, biometric checks, liveness tests)
- Tracing crypto/fiat transaction histories for source of funds (e.g., exchange withdrawals, bank transfers)
- Screening for PEPs/sanctions using Chainalysis or Elliptic
High-Volume Retail KYC Mastery
- Process 100+ individual onboarding cases weekly with 99% accuracy, including:
- ID verification (passport, driver’s license, biometric checks)
- Proof of address (utility bills, bank statements)
- Source of funds (exchange transaction history, fiat deposit trails)
- Audit retail trader profiles for red flags (e.g., mismatched IP/country, VPN use)
Requirements:
- 3+ years of retail KYC experience in crypto exchanges, fintech, or trading platforms (institutional experience is a bonus but not required)
- Strong grasp of retail-focused regulations: AML/CTF (e.g., HKMA, FCA Consumer Duty)
- Hands-on with digital onboarding tools: Video KYC (e.g., Sumsub, Jumio)
- Professional fluency in Mandarin/Cantonese and English (verbal + written) – You’ll directly handle Chinese-speaking clients and regulators
