- Prepare technical proposals, reports, budgets and project schedules
- Handle procurement documents, including but not limited to tender documents, technical drawings, purchase orders and payment recommendations
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure work objectives can be achieved
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure quality and safety of mechanical & electrical installations
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve work outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- With at least 6 years of solid experience in construction project design and management
- Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate is required
- Holder of Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker A is an advantage
- Membership in HKIE, IMechE, IEEE, CIBSE or equivalent is a plus
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office and Chinese word processing
- Good command of both written & spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin
- Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager - Engineering

We are looking for an Engineering Manager based at Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong!
As An Engineering Manager, We Rely On You To
- Be responsible for supervising and providing work guideline to Engineering team on repair and maintenance works on the facilities towards safety, security and asset protection
- Formulate preventive maintenance strategies and implementation plans for building and E&M systems
- Contribute to hotel's profitability to ensure the effective management of the building environmental control and energy conservation system
- Prepare annual budget items, CAPEX analysis and control
- Monitor contractors’ work and liaise with relevant parties to develop and supervise projects and renovations
- Conduct training on emergency procedures and system operation to the engineering team in alignment with the related policies of fire, life and safety
- Attend occasional special events to ensure a smooth operation on technical aspects
- Maintain the updated layout plans, MEP drawings, maintenance records, property assets records
- Degree in Building Services or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- A minimum of 5 years’ solid experience in facility management gained from hospitality industry including 2 years at managerial level
- Knowledge of best practice in facility management, system management and KPIs
- Strong leadership skills and problem-solving skills
- Well-organized, capable to work under pressure and handle multi-tasking assignments
- Proficient in both written and spoken English & Chinese with excellent communication

About The Role
We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to lead our technical team in a dynamic Web3 blockchain company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, particularly in blockchain technologies and decentralized applications (dApps). As an Engineering Manager, you will oversee the development and delivery of cutting-edge blockchain solutions, manage a team of talented engineers, and drive innovation in a rapidly evolving industry.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to a team of software engineers, architects, and blockchain developers.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple blockchain projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and deadlines.
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Allocate resources effectively to optimize productivity and ensure timely project delivery.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the blockchain space, and contribute to the development of the company's technical roadmap and strategy.
- Implement best practices for software development, code reviews, testing, and deployment to maintain high standards of quality and reliability.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks and challenges throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring the successful delivery of blockchain solutions.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role, preferably in the blockchain or cryptocurrency industry.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team of engineers, drive technical innovation, and deliver complex projects on schedule.

About the Team
The Datacenter Infrastructure Engineering team supports the company's fast growth by building and operating hyperscale datacenters. The team manages the end to end lifecycle of server fleet, providing cloud solutions and various infrastructure services ensuring that they are scalable and are reliable.
About the Role
The team is looking for candidates with strong technical infrastructure backgrounds, passionate about engineering excellence, and providing effective and sustainable solutions with an eye to the future. You understand the challenges associated with deploying infrastructure at scale and have experience in designing systems and platforms that set the global standard for performance, availability, security, and cost. The work you do will influence processes globally.
Responsibilities
• Support the DC Operations team as a Subject Matter Expert to understand and manage design limitations and risks.
• Regularly audit, review, and collaborate with our CoLocation Partners on their maintenance program and effectiveness.
• Participate and review Data Hall Fit-Outs to confirm design specifications are being followed
• Manage and drive the change management process for high-risk maintenance activities in our data centers.
• Continually maintain positive and collaborative working relations with partner teams, vendors, teammates, and internal customers.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
• Diploma or Professional Certification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant discipline. With more than 5 years of relevant working experience
• Knowledge of standard power and cooling calculations necessary to determine capacity requirements (i.e., TIA-942, ASHRAE).

About the Team
The Datacenter Infrastructure Engineering team supports the company's fast growth by building and operating hyperscale datacenters. The team manages the end to end lifecycle of server fleet, providing cloud solutions and various infrastructure services ensuring that they are scalable and are reliable.
About the Role
The team is looking for candidates with strong technical infrastructure backgrounds, passionate about engineering excellence, and providing effective and sustainable solutions with an eye to the future. You understand the challenges associated with deploying infrastructure at scale and have experience in designing systems and platforms that set the global standard for performance, availability, security, and cost. The work you do will influence processes globally.
Responsibilities
• Support the DC Operations team as a Subject Matter Expert to understand and manage design limitations and risks.
• Regularly audit, review, and collaborate with our CoLocation Partners on their maintenance program and effectiveness.
• Participate and review Data Hall Fit-Outs to confirm design specifications are being followed
• Manage and drive the change management process for high-risk maintenance activities in our data centers.
• Continually maintain positive and collaborative working relations with partner teams, vendors, teammates, and internal customers.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
• Diploma or Professional Certification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant discipline. With more than 5 years of relevant working experience
• Knowledge of standard power and cooling calculations necessary to determine capacity requirements (i.e., TIA-942, ASHRAE).
