Job Responsibilities

- Assist in R&D project development.
- Conduct research in RISC-V architecture, tiny machine learning accelerator.
- Carry out logic design, module-level or top-level verification.
- Work with the technical team to implement RISC-V/tiny machine learning accelerator on FPGA.
- Carry out firmware design to support FPGA development.
- Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree or above in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Engineering, IC Design or relevant disciplines.
- Experience in HDL coding is highly preferred.

Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct R&D in cutting-edge smart mobility-related areas, including Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X), autonomous driving, intelligent transportation systems and the Low-Altitude Economy (LAE), with the objective to deploy commercial trials and rollouts in the market in partnership with industry leaders in these areas.
- Define requirements, specifications, and innovative designs for smart mobility technology.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Associate Director Software Engineering.
Principal Responsibilities
In this role you will:
- Drive the adoption of AI solutions to facilitate the migration of legacy systems while ensuring business continuity and alignment with HSBC strategies
- Collaborate with key business stakeholders (e.g., CIB, iWPB) to define migration strategies, secure executive buy-in, and manage communications
- Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of AI solutions through proactive monitoring and thorough testing
- Integrate AI capabilities into bank-wide applications and workflows by collaborating with engineering teams and other stakeholders
- Oversee governance and provide regular progress reports on migration initiatives to senior technology and business stakeholders
- Stay current with advancements in AI technologies and drive continuous improvement of the platform's capabilities
- Manage programme financials, including headcount and budget, to deliver projects within scope, on time, and on budget while adhering to HSBC strategies and risk frameworks
Requirements
To be successful you will:
- Proven experience in a leadership role managing large-scale legacy application migration or complex technology programmes
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with a proven ability to drive decisions in a matrix organization
- Strong project planning and execution capabilities, including expertise in business case development and benefits realization
- Demonstrable experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining AI platforms. Knowledge of AI technologies and their integration is highly desirable
- Highly resilient professional adept at managing substantial programme budgets and resources while ensuring quality and timeliness
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation capabilities for executive-level reporting
- Comprehensive knowledge of the financial services industry and a deep understanding of HSBC's Risk and Controls framework
- Proven track record of delivering successful business-enabling technology programmes on time and within budget

Job Responsibilities:
- Accurately and completely maintain proper reinsurance technical accounting record by correctly interpreting the Statement of Accounts after consulting Property & Casualty functions.
- Possess very good understanding of technical accounting interfaces, upstream and downstream functions and stakeholders including the ability to actively manage and contribute to these areas.
- Continuously in touch with clients and communicate professionally.
- Closely monitor the cash-flow, account receivable aging status and follow up on settlement.
- Work closely with market team to update monthly on the cash flow and accounts receivable and bookings status.
- Perform data input by following the agreed working procedures / processes of technical accounting.
- Constantly challenge the inefficient process in the system and work towards bring new process improvements.
- Constantly give feedback and seek areas for improvement in the reporting process, data quality, systems and tool enhancements.
- Learn and master Peak Re reinsurance accounting system.
- Proactively identify risks, maintain effective controls and address control issues on timely basis.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 6-8 years of experience in Technical Accounting.
- Good understanding of Reinsurance Markets such as USA, India, Southeast Asia markets, Experience in China Reinsurance market is a definite plus.
- Able to identify issues and initiate effective communication with line manager and internal stakeholders. Able to suggest solutions with strong understanding of the systems.
- Good computer knowledge and strong understanding in system's logic.
- Detail-oriented, Eager to learn and take up tasks.
- Strong team player with good interpersonal and communication skills. Able to express thoughts and communicate in a clear manner with multinational culture.
- Native Mandarin speaker with proficient in verbal and written English.
- The position will be based in Hong Kong.
