Responsibilities

Job Description

  • Handle regulatory and financial reporting tasks, including preparing and reviewing banking returns, financial statements, and monitoring compliance ratios.
  • Maintain strong oversight of financial data operations, ensuring efficient structuring, workflow, and accurate data retrieval.
  • Support the continuous improvement of financial control measures and reporting processes.
  • Assess and interpret regulatory reporting obligations for new banking products and evolving regulations or standards.
  • Engage in project teams and conduct system UAT to facilitate the smooth implementation of new products, systems, or regulatory requirements.
  • Undertake various ad hoc assignments as required.


The Successful Applicant

Requirements

  • Possess a degree in accounting or a related field, with relevant professional qualifications.
  • At least 5 years of experience in banking or accounting; candidates with Big 4 auditing experience in the banking sector are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory reporting processes is essential.
  • Proficient in report automation and skilled in managing financial data effectively.
  • Hands-on experience in calculating and reporting capital adequacy ratios, with familiarity in Basel III Final Reform being an advantage.
  • Highly self-driven and capable of working independently, with strong planning, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint for financial reporting and presentations.

**Job Description:**
This job is responsible for defining, providing and overseeing analytical processes for highly complex regulatory reporting for one or more operations product teams. Key responsibilities include managing complex projects and workstreams involving systems enhancements, process improvements, products and services. Job expectations include serving as a subject matter expert to other teammates and handling highly complex issues that require management and coordination across multiple stakeholders.
The Regulatory Reporting Operational Senior Professional is responsible for position monitoring, preparation and delivery of non-financial regulatory disclosures under the relevant regulatory reporting laws across multiple regimes including substantial shareholdings, takeovers, short positions, beneficial ownership notices and industry limits for the Global Markets and Wealth Management business divisions. They are responsible for the analysis and resolution of highly complex operations problems and initiatives requiring exceptional handling and/or coordination of multiple operational and/or product specialists to resolve. They will be required to contribute to various projects and/or the introduction of new initiatives, systems, products/services, and processes and coordinate necessary expertise across multiple operations functions and/or products.

**Job Description Summary**
Global Payments Solutions (GPS) turns technological advances into treasury solutions. GPS offer a smarter, more sophisticated treasury relationship that redefines insights, delivers efficiency and helps our clients stay ahead.
The Global Payments Solutions Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting Center of Excellence (GPS NFRR COE) centrally manage the ownership of GPS NFRRs. As a GPS NFRR COE Report Owner at Bank of America, you'll play a critical role in ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and developing and maintaining procedures and processes to ensure accurate, complete, and timely submission of regulatory reports in conformance with regulatory instructions. We're looking for someone with a passion for the financial industry and a commitment to producing high-quality work. The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in regulatory reporting, cash management or trade finance. To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
**Primary Roles & Reponsibilities**
+ Responsible for accurate, complete, and timely submission of NFRRs in conformance with regulatory instructions.
+ Develop and maintain procedures and processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency of all regulatory reporting activities and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory reporting requirements.
+ Partner closely with risk function colleagues to identify, understand, and implement new regulatory reporting requirements.
+ Collaborate with governance team on governance procedures, error escalation and issue management process.
+ Troubleshoot and drive the resolution of issues related to regulatory reporting.
+ Participate in audit/regulatory exams/compliance assessments/key governance forums.
**Required Skills:**
+ Candidate will be a self-motivated, keen attention to detail, and a high energy level individual.
+ University degree with 5-7 years working experience in banking or finance industry.
+ Proficiency in English and at least 2 foreign languages in (Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, or Thai).
+ Basic knowledge in Transaction Banking products offered by global financial insitution.
+ Excellent professional skills, including verbal and written communication, presentation, time mangement and stakeholder management
**Desired Skills:**
+ Prior experience in Transaction Banking will be a plus.
+ Basic knowledge in Tax regulations/reporting will be a plus.

  • Support to resolve data automation incident and improve automation efficiency as needed
  • Explore new techniques and best practices from the market to enhance existing customer segmentation and automation journey

Customer & Campaign Analysis

  • Support the development and enhancement of Power BI dashboard for target audience analysis and campaign performance tracking
  • Assist in customer and campaign analysis to uncover insights, summarise key takeaways and support test & learn initiatives for continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • University graduate in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related subjects
  • Prior working experience in CRM, data and analytics and automation in financial services or consulting firms
  • Hands on experience as CRM / Data Analyst with strong skills in Databrick (using Pythons script). Experience with Power BI and SQL is also preferred.
  • 2-5 years of relevant working experience
  • Attention to details and strong problem-solving skills with a growth mindset to ensure data quality and enable continuous improvement
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a positive attitude
  • Advantage with knowledge in Salesforce Marketing Cloud or related digital Marketing Automations platforms
