We are seeking an Environmental Improvement Specialist to join the Hong Kong Office.
As an Environmental Improvement Specialist, you work with T1 & T2 suppliers to drive decarbonization and environmental improvements plan at the supplier facilities (hard goods & softgoods) to ensure alignment with brands environmental goals. You offer technical expertise to support T1 & T2 suppliers for environmental improvement activities. You will also coordinate with Brands' sourcing teams on project implementation alignment and updates.
Key responsibilities:
- Support Manager to lead the engagement and collaboration with T1 & T2 suppliers to develop and implement decarbonization and environmental improvement strategies and measure progress toward targets.
- Assess supplier environmental performance (GHG emissions, energy efficiency, waste, water) and support the development of performance improvement plans.
- Partner with sourcing and procurement teams, the Group's and Brands' Sustainability teams (ESG), and Global Sourcing Vendor Sustainability teams to ensure supplier alignment with corporate sustainability policies and standards.
- Monitor emerging regulations and corporate commitments relevant to T1 & T2 supplier environmental performance, assisting suppliers in achieving compliance.
- Deliver supplier capacity-building and best-practice sharing workshops for T1 & T2 suppliers.
- Support audits, sustainability reviews, and reporting cycles tied to supplier performance and climate action.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree on Environmental Science, Sustainability, Supply Chain Management, Textile or related field.
- Professional certifications in environmental management, carbon accounting, or supply chain sustainability preferred.
- 3+ years relevant experience, preferably within sustainability, supply chain, or supplier management.
- Proven track record in driving supplier engagement on climate actions, decarbonization, or environmental impact projects.
- Experience in manufacturing or MNC procurement business environment preferred.
- Able to collect and evaluate supplier environmental performance (GHG emissions, energy efficiency, waste, water) and identify improvement hotspots.
- Able to translate data insights into actionable recommendations for ENV improvements.
- Strong understanding of GHG emissions calculation (scope 1, 2, & 3 emissions).
- Solid understanding of the softgoods and hardgoods production process is a plus
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and partnership skills with suppliers.
- Analytical skills for data management and performance tracking.
- Passionate for systemic change and a collaborative mindset.
- Resilience and solutions-oriented when facing difficulties in daily operation.
- ~30% business travel.

Project Title: Assessing the Impact of an AI-Integrated Learning Platform on Senior Secondary Science Learning
(Appointment period: 12 months)
The appointee will participate in a large-scale donation project aimed at enhancing science learning among secondary school students through an AI-integrated learning platform. The appointee will be responsible for undertake research-related duties and providing research support for a collaboration project with the project advisors and team. Responsibilities include assisting in writing research and project proposals, conducting research activities (including qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis), contributing to the preparation of reports, seminars, meetings, and knowledge transfer events, aiding in the dissemination of findings in high-quality peer-reviewed journals, books/chapters, and reports; and supporting other research/evaluation duties related to the project. The appointment will be for approximately 12 months.
For the post of Research Assistant I, applicants should hold a Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, or a related discipline, with an understanding of research methods and data analysis techniques. For the post of Research Assistant II, applicants should have at least Level 2 or equivalent or above in five subjects including Chinese Language, English Language and Mathematics in HKDSE; or Grade E (Level 2) or above in five subjects including Chinese, English (Syllabus B) and Mathematics in HKCEE or equivalent. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in primary/secondary education sectors in Hong Kong and mainland China, as well as experience in educational research. Working experience in assisting school-based support projects offered by tertiary institutions and teaching experience in primary/secondary schools will be advantageous. Applicants should have a strong command of both written English and Chinese, and be able to speak Putonghua and Cantonese. They should also be capable of working independently, be good team players, possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, pay attention to details, and be highly self-motivated, well-organized and able to work under pressure.
