As a Desktop Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-performance. desktop solutions that are critical to day-to-day trading operations. This role requires a strong understanding of windows and desktop hardware, rapid issue resolution, and the ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment where uptime and responsiveness are paramount. Your Core Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure and manage laptops, desktops, mobile phones and peripherals.
  • First point of contact for technical issues in-person and remote.
  • Document support issues, update knowledge bases and enforce IT security policies.
  • Technical support for meeting rooms, video conferencing and events.
  • Manage user accounts using tools like Active Directory, Entra and Okta.
  • Support MS 365 services including Exchange Online and Office.
  • Administer Microsoft server technologies including Active Directory, WSUS, DFS and Group Policy.
  • Support and manage corporate software such as Zoom, Jira, Confluence & VMWare.

Your Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in a desktop support or similar technical role.
  • Strong analytical thinking and effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a demonstrated passion for technology and innovation.
  • Proficient in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
  • Extensive experience supporting both macOS and Windows operating systems.
  • Knowledgeable in MS 365 administration.
  • Hands-on experience managing and supporting mobile devices via MDM platforms (e.g., Intune, Jamf).
  • Practical experience providing AV setup and troubleshooting support.
  • Exposure to virtualization (VMware), MS server, cloud platforms (AWS), and automation tools are a plus.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or industry certifications (e.g., Computer Science degree, Microsoft certifications) are a bonus—but training and certification support is provided.

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent is preferred
  • 1 - 3 years of proven experience in implementation and support of IT systems
  • Hands on experience in MS SQL database, Windows and Linux operating environments
  • Experience in supporting Point of Sales system and Inventory Management Supply Chain Applications is an advantage
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Retails or Food & Beverage businesses
  • Experience in RFID technology is a bonus
  • Quick learner with good analytical and troubleshooting skills and able to work under pressure
  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and balance priorities
  • Demonstrate as a good team player and can work on own initiative with good attention to details and timeline
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willing to liaise between multiple local and overseas work partners and business users

  • Develop test plan and arrange tests to ensure that all the necessary testing such as unit, functional, performance, stress, acceptance test are well-covered

Responsibilities
  • Understand the company’s business requirements and deliver effective technical solutions in the Point-of-Sales (POS) space and its ecosystems such as supply chain management and various digital payment enablement.
  • Act as Level 2 application support subject matter expert to tackle system issues as well as facilitate business change requests
  • Assist project manager in project activities including end-to-end system design, implementation, test and deployment

Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent is preferred
  • 1 - 3 years of proven experience in implementation and support of IT systems
  • Hands on experience in MS SQL database, Windows and Linux operating environments
  • Experience in supporting Point of Sales system and Inventory Management Supply Chain Applications is an advantage
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Retails or Food & Beverage businesses
  • Experience in RFID technology is a bonus
  • Quick learner with good analytical and troubleshooting skills and able to work under pressure
  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and balance priorities
  • Demonstrate as a good team player and can work on own initiative with good attention to details and timeline
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willing to liaise between multiple local and overseas work partners and business users
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Analyst to join our Business Systems team, focusing on Finance solutions. The successful candidate will be a key member of the IT Finance Technology Solutions stream, responsible for project implementation and enhancement realization. This role primarily involves working on Finance-related solutions but may also include affiliated project activities as needed.

This position reports to Project & Product Management Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and support Finance Solutions, mainly in ERP systems, for Hong Kong, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, and Mainland China.
  • Perform system and functional design to meet business needs.
  • Liaise with the development team to implement functional changes in the system; conduct system testing and troubleshooting.
  • Develop and update system process documentation, test scripts, key user training materials, blueprints, and other project-related documentation.
  • Conduct user training on system operations.
  • Manage projects and system enhancements.
  • Collaborate with solution providers as necessary.

The Successful Applicant:

  • University degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent disciplines.
  • Finance system configuration, general system design and development, business knowledge is core Finance process is a must
  • Expertise in S/4 HANA 2023 or later version is preferred
  • Expertise in Management Reporting, Consolidation and Planning related topics is preferred.
  • Good command of both written Chinese and English; fluent in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.
  • Minimum of 2 years of project implementation or support experience on Finance-related solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Committed and able to work independently.
  • Flexible with occasional travel.
