We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Generalist to provide comprehensive HR services to our Hong Kong employees. This role requires a strong understanding of Hong Kong employment law and tax regulations, as well as experience with payroll processing, benefits administration, and HR systems. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities

About the job

  • Payroll & Tax Compliance: Accurately and efficiently process payroll, ensuring timely and compliant tax reporting in accordance with all applicable Hong Kong laws and regulations. This includes monthly tax declarations, adjustments, year-end reconciliations, and managing all employer and employee tax obligations.
  • Benefits Administration: Manage the seamless implementation and administration of all mandatory government benefits (e.g., social insurance, pension) and company-provided supplementary benefits for Hong Kong employees.
  • HR Systems & Data Management: Serve as a super user and guide for Workday, ensuring its effective utilization and administration. Manage and maintain accurate employee records within Workday and other local HR systems, including attendance tracking and benefit applications, while adhering to all compliance requirements.
  • Vendor Management: Monitor and manage the performance of our payroll vendor, ensuring high-quality service and effective collaboration.
  • HR Operations Support: Provide a full range of HR operational support to Hong Kong employees, including inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and HR systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in human resources shared services or HR operations within multinational corporations (MNCs).
  • Proven experience with payroll processing and tax compliance in Hong Kong; strong understanding of Hong Kong employment law and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Workday (or similar HRIS system) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, numerical, and analytical skills.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and Cantonese (Mandarin a plus).
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, positive attitude, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Are you driven by the challenge of building scalable HR processes and automating workflows from the ground up? Were looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Operations Specialist who's passionate about operational efficiency and excited to take ownership of onboarding, off-boarding, and HR systems optimization.

In this role, you wont just be handling day-to-day admin tasks youll be driving the implementation and improvement of HR processes , identifying areas for automation, and helping shape the future of HR operations in a growing, fast-paced team.

What You'll Be Doing

Onboarding & Off-boarding

  • Design and optimize onboarding/off-boarding workflows to ensure a smooth employee experience
  • Request, prepare, and process necessary documentation (service agreements, terminations)
  • Coordinate cross-functional tasks with Legal, Finance, CISO, and IT
  • Conduct welcome meetings and ensure seamless system access (Slack, Jira, HRM, etc.)
  • Implement termination processes through HRM systems and related tools

HR Operations & Documentation

  • Prepare and maintain HR documentation (promotions, changes in employee data, compliance updates)
  • Ensure accurate data entry and document storage
  • Reconcile employee leave data with accounting and update records accordingly
  • Support the development and revision of internal regulations and HR policies (in both Russian and English)

Corporate Support & Culture

  • Coordinate the equipment lifecycle (requests, approvals, payments, logistics)
  • Celebrate employee milestones and ensure cultural alignment across teams
  • Help shape and enforce company structure updates in both HRM systems and documentation

What We Expect From You

  • Upper-Intermediate or higher English (comfortable with written and verbal communication in international teams)
  • Solid understanding of core HR processes and HR document management
  • Hands-on experience automating HR workflows and introducing new operational processes
  • Familiarity with HRM platforms and experience supporting platform transitions
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and proactive in driving improvements

About The Opportunity

In this role you will execute all frontline processes and policies as it pertains to the Global HR Operations. You’ll be heavily involved in the daily HR operation, such as the preparation of documents and benefit administration. You’ll be asked to proactively identify opportunities to enhance the service provided by HR and ultimately implement meaningful changes. Additionally, you will have an opportunity to shape the firm’s people-related practices/initiatives by applying external and internal contextual knowledge, including the Terms & Conditions of employment in worldwide locations.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for our HK population, addressing their unique needs and challenges.
  • Identify and implement strategies to improve existing HR processes for HK employees, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Understand and fulfil the HR needs of HK employees and managers, providing excellent customer service while adhering to established processes and controls.
  • Collaborate to improve efficiency and consistently execute all HR business processes.
  • Lead the review, updating, and creation of employment documents for compliance in a HK workforce context, collaborating with key stakeholders. This includes templates, offer letters, employment contracts, consulting service agreements, and other employment-related documents.
  • Participate in special projects on a local and global basis as required (20% of the time).

Line Manager: Human Resources Manager

Job Purpose

This entry-level role in Corporate HR Team supports the full spectrum of the employee life cycle, with a focus on onboarding and offboarding, documentation, payroll preparation, and coordination of employment-related activities. The incumbent will also provide essential administrative support to the HR team and facilitate communication between the Corporate HR Team and all school HR teams. This role is critical to ensure smooth and efficient HR operations across the Group Offices. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Key Areas of Accountabilities

Management / Professional Focus

  • Support the Manager in managing the full employee life cycle, including onboarding, offboarding, payroll, tax, and employee engagement.
  • Coordinate visa applications and related mobilization matters for new and existing employees.
  • Maintain and update HR systems and employee records.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant employment regulations.

Operational Focus

  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity in HR systems.
  • Prepare monthly HR reports for management review.
  • Assist in onboarding and offboarding logistics and documentation.
  • Liaise with internal departments and School HR to ensure smooth HR operations.
  • Organize logistics for HR meetings, training, and events.

Others

  • Provide administrative support for HR projects and initiatives.

Line Manager: Human Resources Manager

Job Purpose

This entry-level role in Corporate HR Team supports the full spectrum of the employee life cycle, with a focus on onboarding and offboarding, documentation, payroll preparation, and coordination of employment-related activities. The incumbent will also provide essential administrative support to the HR team and facilitate communication between the Corporate HR Team and all school HR teams. This role is critical to ensure smooth and efficient HR operations across the Group Offices. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Key Areas of Accountabilities

Management / Professional Focus

  • Support the Manager in managing the full employee life cycle, including onboarding, offboarding, payroll, tax, and employee engagement.
  • Coordinate visa applications and related mobilization matters for new and existing employees.
  • Maintain and update HR systems and employee records.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant employment regulations.

Operational Focus

  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity in HR systems.
  • Prepare monthly HR reports for management review.
  • Assist in onboarding and offboarding logistics and documentation.
  • Liaise with internal departments and School HR to ensure smooth HR operations.
  • Organize logistics for HR meetings, training, and events.

Others

  • Provide administrative support for HR projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full spectrum of HR functions-including organizational development, talent acquisition and management, compensation and benefits, and employee engagement-for prestigious investment properties including Harbour City, Times Square and Plaza Hollywood.
  • Lead and drive frontline and operational recruitment initiatives, ensuring the attraction, selection, onboarding, and retention of high-quality staff for all property-related roles
  • Serve as a strategic HR Business Partner to property management, operational teams, providing value-added advisory services across all HR matters to support effective people management, operational excellence, and compliance with PMC standards
  • Review and update HR policies and procedures to align with evolving business needs, property management best practices, and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on HR metrics, trends, and analyses, delivering actionable insights to senior management to support strategic decision-making
  • Manage staff disciplinary and grievance procedures, conduct thorough investigations, and ensure fair and consistent application of disciplinary actions in line with company policies and Hong Kong employment ordinances
  • Enhance the employee experience and foster a high-performing, inclusive, and safety-conscious workplace culture within the property management sector
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, company policies, and property management regulations and licensing requirements, including managing HR-related audits and investigations and other applicable statutory and regulatory frameworks

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline, with at least 12 years of relevant experience in sizable organizations, including a minimum of 6 years in a managerial role
  • Proven experience in property management or shopping centre with hands-on involvement in frontline and operational staff recruitment, onboarding, and disciplinary processes
  • Agile and independent HR leader with a strong drive to achieve company objectives and adapt to the dynamic property management environment
  • Strong organizational and influencing skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and stakeholders in an operational setting
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices and a thorough understanding of employment-related ordinances in Hong Kong, as well as property management industry standards
  • Familiarity with the licensing regime for property management companies and practitioners, including requirements for PMC and PMP licenses, and experience supporting compliance with PMSA standards
  • Outstanding communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)

We are looking for a skilled HR Generalist in Hong Kong to manage the recruitment process while acting as the account owner for the Sales & Marketing team. This role will involve overseeing the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees, while serving as the primary point of contact for recruitment-related account services.

Roles and Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for account services related to recruitment within the Sales & Marketing team.
  • Actively seek out and engage potential candidates using a proactive approach to meet hiring needs aggressively.

Employee Relations

  • Address employee relations issues and conduct investigations when necessary.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR policies and procedures

Training & Development

  • Support the training and development initiatives for the team.
  • Facilitate ongoing training sessions to enhance team skills and performance.

Requirements
