Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the Company's business expansion and business development, in particular, its environmental, social and governance (ESG) consulting practice;

• Provide ESG consultancy and execution roles:

• Prepare project documentation and ESG reports in compliance with listing rules (e.g. HKEX, SGX) and/or international reporting standards (e.g. GRI, SASB, ISSB)

• Analyze ESG data and conduct gap analysis to identify potential enhancement areas
• Provide support on stakeholder engagement and materiality assessment exercise
• Host project briefing and training
• Work as a team member to provide high-quality execution of risk advisory-related projects for listed and IPO clients across a wide range of industries;
• Project management and delivery of various projects under tight schedules and in a professional manner;
• Perform other ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• University degree major in Accounting, Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Social Science, or other related disciplines;
• Relevant professional qualifications, e.g. Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA), Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR) Certification, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) etc.;
• CPA firm or other professional firm working experience is preferred;
• Experience in auditing will be an advantage;
• Proactive, energetic and able to work independently, efficiently and under pressure in a demanding and fast-paced environment;
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills;
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;
• High proficiency in Chinese word processing is required;

• Contribute to sustainability/climate risk assessments and support clients in integrating sustainability risks into their enterprise risk management systems;
• Keep abreast of the knowledge of the latest developments in sustainability, carbon accounting and sustainable finance;
• Work closely with the clients and team members to deliver high-quality work;
• Review the work of subordinates to ensure that project objectives and professional standards are met;

• Solid understanding of and experience in ESG/sustainability trends, standards and guidelines such as GRI Standards, GHG Protocol, HKEX ESG Reporting Code, IFRS S1 & S2, TNFD, PCAF Standards;
• Consultant – more than three years of experience. Candidates with less experience may be considered for the position of Analyst;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, with the ability to communicate confidently in a clear and concise manner;
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with high commitment to providing quality client service;

JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Analyst, Risk and ESG is instrumental in cultivating a strong risk management culture and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives.

ENTERPRISE RISK MANAGEMENT

• Develop and execute a comprehensive enterprise risk management (ERM) program, encompassing planning, execution, mitigation and detailed reporting.
• Conduct ad-hoc assessments for potential key risk areas.
• Facilitate internal audit preparation and follow-up activities, ensuring adherence to Board directives and governance standards and regulatory frameworks

ESG

• Partner with third-party professionals and relevant stakeholders to prepare the annual ESG report.
