The candidate will be a key member of the Regional FP&A team, primarily responsible for preparing various APAC consolidation reports for month-end closing, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning. Additionally, the candidate will assist with expense reporting preparation and management for several functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in submitting consolidation reports for month-end closing, forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range plans for the APAC region.
- Help with the submission of expense forecasts and budgets
- Work with the reporting hub in India and secure continuous excellence in system integrity and report quality
- Support the consolidation APAC financial results, prepare trend & variance analysis, communicate with multiple Business Partners to draw insight and provide recommendations, if necessary
- Potential to rotate into different roles within the FP&A team or other finance areas in the future
- Other ad-hoc work as required
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with minimum 1 year experience
- Previous retail or fashion industry experience is preferred
- Strong customer centricity, continuous improvement mindset
- Results oriented; flexible and demonstrate a resourceful attitude
- A self-starter and team player; ability to manage multiple activities of different natures in a condensed timeframe
- Fluent in English; excellent verbal and written communication skills, embraces culturally diverse interpersonal relationships
- Experience in reporting & analytical tools, knowledge in AX, Insight & Essbase is a plus
- Advanced technical skills in Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Candidate with more experience will be considered as Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst

Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range financial planning, with a focus on manufacturing cost structures, production efficiency, and inventory management.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support business decisions, including product costing, capital expenditure (CAPEX) analysis, and ROI evaluations.
- Analyze financial and operational KPIs (e.g., gross margin, production yield, overhead absorption) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Partner with operations, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to provide data-driven insights and cost optimization strategies.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly management reports with actionable recommendations, including variance analysis against production budgets and forecasts.
- Develop and present high-quality board papers and presentations on financial performance.
- Deliver clear, concise, and compelling financial presentations to executives and stakeholders, translating manufacturing financials into strategic insights.
- Create executive dashboards and ad-hoc reports to support operational efficiency and profitability improvements.
- Present financial results and forecasts in a way that aligns with manufacturing KPIs and business objectives.
- Work closely with Accounting, Operations, Supply Chain, and Business Units to align financial plans with production goals and cost control initiatives.
- Drive digitization within the FP&A organization
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred.
- 8+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, or cost accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Manufacturing industry experience preferred (e.g., cost accounting, production finance, supply chain finance).
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros, complex modeling).
- Proficiency in BI tools (e.g. Power BI) and ERP systems (e.g. Oracle) with experience in manufacturing modules.
- Knowledge of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation methods.
- Fluent English (written and spoken) with exceptional communication and storytelling abilities.
- Strong presentation skills (PowerPoint/Google Slides) for executive audiences.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Explore the data landscape: profile on-chain, off-chain, fiat and KYC datasets to understand structures, gaps and lineage. Document findings for downstream engineering teams.
- Prototype features for ML & rules: translate typologies and investigator hypotheses into measurable candidate variables (e.g., velocity, counterparty risk scores, graph metrics) using SQL/Python and big data.
- Validate data quality & drift: run one-off QC checks, anomaly detection and basic stratified sampling to confirm a feature’s stability before production hand-off.
- Collaborate with modelers & investigators: iterate quickly on feature definitions, and refine logic based on model performance and investigative feedback.
- Maintain a living feature catalogue: version each prototype, capture business meaning, lineage and sample metrics so production data engineers can industrialize it.
- Support regulatory look-backs & ad-hoc research: replay historical data, craft quick queries and surface insights that help Compliance and Compliance Product teams respond to audits or enforcement actions.
- Stay current: monitor emerging AML data-science techniques (graph ML, LLM embeddings, anomaly detection) and assess their applicability to crypto and fiat monitoring.
- 4+ years in data engineering / analytics with hands-on feature-engineering and exploratory data analysis; AML or broader compliance experience is a plus.
- Expertise in SQL and Python (Pandas, PySpark, or similar) within notebook workflows, plus hands-on experience with big data stacks such as Spark/Hadoop, Databricks and Alibaba DataWorks
- Solid grounding in machine-learning fundamentals (supervised, unsupervised, evaluation metrics) and how features impact model performance.
- Experience translating AML / regulatory concepts into quantitative features—e.g., structuring, layering, sanctions exposure.
- Strong exploratory mindset: you’re comfortable with messy, ambiguous data and love turning it into structured insight.
- Effective communicator who can collaborate with downstream data engineers and data scientists and explain feature logic to investigators and auditors.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Self-directed, curious, and hungry to experiment with new data sources — blockchain analytics, vendor feeds, public datasets.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Explore the data landscape: profile on-chain, off-chain, fiat and KYC datasets to understand structures, gaps and lineage. Document findings for downstream engineering teams.
- Prototype features for ML & rules: translate typologies and investigator hypotheses into measurable candidate variables (e.g., velocity, counterparty risk scores, graph metrics) using SQL/Python and big data.
- Validate data quality & drift: run one-off QC checks, anomaly detection and basic stratified sampling to confirm a feature’s stability before production hand-off.
- Collaborate with modelers & investigators: iterate quickly on feature definitions, and refine logic based on model performance and investigative feedback.
- Maintain a living feature catalogue: version each prototype, capture business meaning, lineage and sample metrics so production data engineers can industrialize it.
- Support regulatory look-backs & ad-hoc research: replay historical data, craft quick queries and surface insights that help Compliance and Compliance Product teams respond to audits or enforcement actions.
- Stay current: monitor emerging AML data-science techniques (graph ML, LLM embeddings, anomaly detection) and assess their applicability to crypto and fiat monitoring.
- 4+ years in data engineering / analytics with hands-on feature-engineering and exploratory data analysis; AML or broader compliance experience is a plus.
- Expertise in SQL and Python (Pandas, PySpark, or similar) within notebook workflows, plus hands-on experience with big data stacks such as Spark/Hadoop, Databricks and Alibaba DataWorks
- Solid grounding in machine-learning fundamentals (supervised, unsupervised, evaluation metrics) and how features impact model performance.
- Experience translating AML / regulatory concepts into quantitative features—e.g., structuring, layering, sanctions exposure.
- Strong exploratory mindset: you’re comfortable with messy, ambiguous data and love turning it into structured insight.
- Effective communicator who can collaborate with downstream data engineers and data scientists and explain feature logic to investigators and auditors.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Self-directed, curious, and hungry to experiment with new data sources — blockchain analytics, vendor feeds, public datasets.

Purpose
The Assistant Manager Social & Environmental Affairs (SEA) will support the implementation of adidas’ social compliance policies, program and human rights due diligence in the upstream supply chain. The role will also include administrative program support, to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the SEA program globally.

The scope of this role includes supporting the effective implementation of key strategic projects and initiatives, and actively engaging with internal and external stakeholders. The role will also include administrative program support, to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the SEA program globally.
Key Responsibilities
Social Compliance Program Support (75%)
- Support the effective implementation of SEA policies, projects, and programs across the region in alignment with the established work plan
- Assist the SEA Social Assurance Team in tracking compliance monitoring activities in the upstream supply chain, ensuring alignment with the annual work plan
- Carry out specific tasks in implementation of the adidas Responsible Recruitment Policy across the supply chain, with a specific focus on sourcing regions with high dependencies on foreign migrant labor
- Contribute to social compliance data collection, analysis and reporting, and improving the integrity, accuracy, completion, and the timeliness of social compliance data
- Conduct qualitative research and benchmarking of social compliance and human rights trends and topics in related industry and country
- Engage with key internal stakeholders and external stakeholders to integrate social compliance requirements into business practices
- Support other ad-hoc projects within the SEA team on an as-needed basis
- Support with tracking and managing SEA program budgets, including program and consultancy costs, travel costs, and other related program activity costs
- Collate monthly management reports documenting key updates from SEA program initiatives and other relevant business/program updates
- Support in the procurement of external services (e.g. consultancy services) and process contracts, invoices and purchase orders
- Support in issuing SEA program communications to adidas business partners on an as-needed basis
- Other SEA team members including Field Operations, Social Assurance and Program Operations
- External stakeholders such as civil society and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), industry associations and multi-stakeholder initiatives
- Demonstrated commitment to and interest in advancing human rights and labor standards in global supply chains and knowledge in human rights, labor, environment, health & safety regulations, and international labor standards preferred
- Direct project management knowledge and experience, including developing and maintaining project plans, providing regular communication and coordination, high priority setting and problem solving, and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively via multiple formats, including data visualizations, written narratives/reports, and verbal presentations.
- Effective cross-functional collaborator with strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships internally and externally
- Direct experience conducting in-depth social compliance/human rights due diligence assessment, and/or occupational health & safety assessments is highly desirable
- Fluency in English required, additional fluency in Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) highly desirable
- University degree (Bachelor’s) in a relevant discipline such as Social Science, Business Administration, or related discipline
- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in social compliance, sustainability, supply chain, or global sourcing business
- Experience in data analytics and reporting, including but not limited to use of Power BI
- Proficient and effective use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
