HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND LEARN?
Finance and Accounting
- Responsible for daily finance operation, month-end & year-end closing and preparation of management reports for responsible Head Office Departments & Worldwide Offices
- Support procurement process, including but not limited to purchase order and vendor vetting to ensure they are in compliance with the HKTB financial policies and procedures
- Support external and internal auditors for year-end audit and other financial reporting compliance
- Assist Manager / Senior Manager on planning and budgeting functions and coordinating with various Head Office Departments & Worldwide Offices
- Liaise and coordinate with Head Office Departments & Worldwide Offices to provide support and resolve issues on accounting and compliance matters
- Support process and system enhancement to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency, and to enhance effective internal control and compliance
- Undertake any other duties / ad hoc assignments
- Act as a business partner with Head Office Departments & Worldwide Offices to support daily business operation and to ensure business processes compiled in accordance with policies and procedures
- University degree holder in Accounting or Finance
- Professional qualification of HKICPA or other international professional accounting bodies is a plus
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant accounting and FP&A experience
- Experience in working in subvented bodies and related audit experience would be an advantage
- Exposure in multinational/regional head office finance operations
- A team player with good coordination and interpersonal skills, self-initiated
- Highly self-initiatives, strong business sense, analytical mind and problem-solving skills
- Attention to details, strong sense of responsibility and able to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- High proficiency in Excel and other MS Office applications
- Experience in Oracle NetSuite would be an advantage
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese

Role Overview – As our Subscription Sales Manager/Executive, you will be responsible for revenue generation, client account management and growth of subscription sales for our brands across the region.
Our Brands – AsianInvestor, FinanceAsia & CorporateTreasurer are the region’s leading industry titles providing essential insights and intelligence for Asset Owners & Managers, deal makers & treasurers. Across many platforms, our brands deliver deep and broad analysis of industry trends and developments.
The successful candidate will have an excellent telephone and face to face meeting manner and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Targeting potential new members and prospects across the world, the ability to plan and prioritize personal sales activity, along with a positive work ethic, is essential.
Another important aspect of the role will be to use data to help drive sales by analysing customer behavior and data we get from our marketing and audience teams.
Knowledge of the finance industry would be advantageous, but experience in tele-sales is essential. A subscription sales background is strongly preferred. Excellent standard of English language is required, mandarin or other Asian language would be an advantage.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Meet and exceed assigned budget and business plan forecasts for finance brands subscription.
- Warm and cold call prospecting via telephone within different geographic areas
- Develop new business, clients and strategies to grow the revenue base.
- Research the audience base to develop a plan for new business.
- Maintain regular contact with clients to build relationships and increase yearly spend.
- Drive corporate subscription with regional clients.
- Help come up with marketing campaigns to increase sales funnel.
Personal Specifications:
- 2+ years sales / telesales experience managing membership or subscription-based business
- Excellent telephone manner
- Face to face meeting experience is preferred
- Goal driven, resilient and hungry to win business
- The ability to 'deliver' against KPIs
- Exceptional organisation and time management skills
- Able to use own initiative and work proactively
- Mature, positive, determined, considered and confident
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, other Asian language a plus

· Manage audit process, statutory and tax filings
· Liaise with PRC finance and risk management teams, external auditors, IRD and banks etc.
· Occasional travel to PRC (1-2 times per year)
· Undertake ad hoc projects and assignments.
Requirements: -
· Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
· Qualified Accountant with HKICPA/ACCA or equivalent
· At least 10 years of experience in asset management/brokerage accounting, including a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role, demonstrating proven expertise and leadership.
· Familiar with HK accounting standards, taxation, SFC regulations
· Highest standard of integrity, ethics & professionalism with strong business acumen, analytical skills and problem-solving skills
· Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua

- Lead the evaluation, provide financial insights and make decisions on commercial opportunities.
- Understand the sectors we serve and competitors to ensure our commercial decision-making is informed by this knowledge.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field;
- 10+ years’ experience, with extensive experience in a senior finance role, preferably within a global commercial environment
- Proven track record of developing and implementing financial strategies
