This is a large Chinese Asset Management firm. They are looking to hire a Finance Director to manage a team of 2 and will be responsible for financial reporting, planning, budgeting and statutory financial reporting including SFC returns
Responsibilities:
· Manage the finance team for daily operations of all the financial and accounting related-issues
· Responsible for financial reporting, planning, budgeting and statutory financial reporting including SFC returns
· Prepare and deliver monthly group consolidated financial and management report and performance commentary to Management
· Responsible for the financial and risk management reporting to PRC head office
· Drive and monitor all treasure, banking, and fundraising activities
· Ensure compliance with group’s in-house policies and guidelines and financial regulatory requirements
· Manage audit process, statutory and tax filings
· Liaise with PRC finance and risk management teams, external auditors, IRD and banks etc.
· Occasional travel to PRC (1-2 times per year)
· Undertake ad hoc projects and assignments.
Requirements: -
· Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
· Qualified Accountant with HKICPA/ACCA or equivalent
· At least 10 years of experience in asset management/brokerage accounting, including a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role, demonstrating proven expertise and leadership.
· Familiar with HK accounting standards, taxation, SFC regulations
· Highest standard of integrity, ethics & professionalism with strong business acumen, analytical skills and problem-solving skills
· Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua
