- To develop and maintain good working relationships with gambling-care NGOs and concern groups, opinion formers, academia, as well as enhance their understanding of the Club's RG efforts.
- To coach junior colleagues on related subjects and perform other duties as assigned by SMEA(RG).
Education

Experience

Duties:
To manage all site visits and to review the material of the visits for better showcasing DSD's work to the public, and to guide the Community Relations Officers on their day-to-day works, including -

To monitor DSD website to ensure quality services for the public;
To provide support to senior officers in the Public Relations Unit and the directorate staff on publicity and public education matters of the department;
To handle media enquiry by keeping track of public opinions and views expressed through mass media and social media closely; and
To manage the DSD social media accounts, including the daily operation and content updates of the social media platforms.
(Note: The successful candidate may be required to work irregular hours.)
Terms of Appointment:
Successful candidate will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms for a period of 12 months. Renewal of contract will be subject to the service need of this Department and the performance of the candidate.
Fringe Benefits
Upon satisfactory completion of the full contract period with consistently high standard of performance and conduct, the appointee will be granted a gratuity for the period of service. Such gratuity, plus any contribution by the Government to a Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) Scheme in respect of the appointee as required by the MPF Schemes Ordinance, will equal 15% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period. Rest days, statutory and general holidays, annual leave, maternity/paternity leave, sickness allowance, where appropriate, will be granted on terms not less favourable than the provisions in the Employment Ordinance.
General Notes:

(g) Holders of academic qualifications other than those obtained from Hong Kong institutions/Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority may also apply but their qualifications will be subject to assessments on equivalence with the required entry qualifications.
