Position Description
Assist Head of Facilities and FD HoS to carry out design, tendering, evaluation of improvement projects, and site liaison, monitoring, checking the progress and safety of construction or renovation sites, ensuring quality of works; support the maintenance works to ensure the maintenance work of all hangar equipment is carried out in a cost-effective manner and in accordance with the time schedules and quality standards required to comply with statutory and aviation regulations. Provide supervision to FD staff and contractors during project phases.
What You'll Do
- Assist Head of Facilities and FD HoS to carry out design, tendering, evaluation of improvement projects, and site liaison, monitoring, checking the progress and safety of construction or renovation sites,
- ensuring quality of works; support the maintenance works to ensure the maintenance work of all hangar equipment is carried out in a cost-effective manner and in accordance with the time schedules and quality standards required to comply with statutory and aviation regulations.
- Provide supervision to FD staff and contractors during project phases.
- Handle new design, modification and improvement of hangar, workshop, office and equipment
- Co-ordinate with different parties to ensure the smooth operation of the project and solve any technical problems encountered during the project phase
- Compile specification for projects and equipment, tender evaluation and justification
- To design the maintenance schedule for all critical production equipment to ensure they are all in serviceable condition in accordance with airworthiness regulations and will not affect HAECO’s daily operation
- Co-ordinate with contractors and all related parties to solve all problems on site to ensure the work to be completed satisfactorily and follow up for any deficiencies
Job Requirements & Competencies
- Good in presentation skill; excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong project management and technical skills and able to work independently.
- Excellent in application of AutoCAD or other computer aid design software, Microsoft Office, planning software (Primavera, MS Project, etc.) which are common using in Facilities.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
- Degree in related discipline + 8 years relevant experience OR
- Higher Diploma in related discipline + 9 years relevant experience
- 2 years in Assistant Engineer

Job Responsibilities
+ Conduct daily facilities maintenance for all assigned facilities, mainly E&M, minor of builder's work
+ Create work plans for both preventive and corrective maintenance
+ Ensure all programs and procedures are being complied with high-quality standard
+ Materials and parts inventory management, place purchasing order for materials and parts in advance of the work schedule
+ Perform ad-hoc tasks and projects including request for quotation/ tender as assigned
+ Receive escalated complaints and resolve difficult problems.
+ Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs. Utilize available systems to manage work orders and track completion.
+ Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
+ Support emergency call
+ Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
+ Higher Diploma or above in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/Building Services Engineering or relevant disciplines
+ Minimum of 5 years' maintenance experience in Maintenance Engineering / Building Services within the banking or financial services industry is preferable.
+ Holder of EMSD registered Electrical Worker Grade A.
+ Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Good team player with good organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
+ Proficiency in Cantonese (Spoken and written) is a must. Good command of both written and spoken English.

Utilizes advanced skills to perform complex preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment and grounds. **What You'll Need:**

+ Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.

- Prepare maintenance documentation in relation to safety, quality and environmental issues
- Higher Diploma / Higher Certificate in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / Building Services Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience, of which 1 year should be at supervisory level; or
- Diploma / Certificate in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / Building Services Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience, of which 1 year should be at supervisory level, or
- Good interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem solving skills
- Candidates with extensive experience but lower qualification will also be considered
- Required to perform shift duties and work on weekend and public holidays, when and where required
- The above position offers a Joining Bonus of $12,000, subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant programme

Job Description
THE COMPANY :
- We are the property owner (landlord) of Grade-A commercial building located in Hong Kong
- We are looking for TECHNICAL OFFICER - with details as follows :
- Lead and oversee the repair & maintenance works and fitting-out projects for Company-owned Commercial Buildings
- Prepare and review tender documents for repair & maintenance builders work and fitting-out projects.
- Manage and monitor the performance of contractors, suppliers, and the in-house technical service team to ensure workmanship, schedule, and budget align with prescribed requirements and specifications.
- Oversee the procurement process, ensuring full compliance with Company policies and Statutory requirements.
- Work with and assist the in-house Building Service Team for the technical aspects of handover with tenants
- Manage and monitor the work of in-house Technicians when required
- Tertiary educated in Building Surveying, Building Studies, Building Technology.etc or equivalent
- 5+ years experience in building maintenance
- Experience in property owner (landlord) side is a plus
- Experience in Commercial buildings is a plus
- Proficient in Chinese and English; Mandarin is a plus
- 5 days work
- Annual leave : 12 days
