(a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree, or equivalent (See Note (i));

(b) A certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent;

(c) Met the language proficiency requirements of Level 3 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent (See Note (ii)); and

(d) At least 4 years' post-degree full time relevant working experience.

Note:

(i) A locally-accredited Hong Kong bachelor's degree is at Level 5 under the Hong Kong Qualifications Framework (HKQF). While there are other qualifications under HKQF Level 5, only bachelor's degree is acceptable for this recruitment exercise. (ii) For appointment purpose, 'Grade C' and 'Grade E' in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to 'Level 3' and 'Level 2' respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.

Duties:

(a) To assist in the design of teacher training programmes, development of learning resources and serve as speaker in the training activities;

(b) To assist in administrative, financial, procurement and supporting duties relating to various training programmes;

(c) To assist in the implementation of different training programmes; to collect feedback, provide support in programme evaluation and handle enquiries;

(d) To support and evaluate the progress of the study tours for teachers by joining in; and

(e) To perform any other duties as assigned.

Terms of Appointment:

Successful candidates will be employed on non-civil service contract terms for 1 year.

Fringe Benefits

(a) 14 days annual leave and full pay sickness allowance whereas rest days, statutory holidays(or substituted holidays), maternity leave/paternity leave, where appropriate, will be granted in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Ordinance.

(b) A gratuity may be granted upon satisfactory completion of the contract with consistently high standard of performance and conduct. Such gratuity, if granted, plus any contribution made by the Government to a Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) scheme in respect of the appointee as required by the MPF Schemes Ordinance, will be equal to 10% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period.

Engineering Geology is a separate sub-stream under the Geotechnical team. Our geological specialists support the geotechnical team and provide professional geological services including ground investigation planning, natural terrain hazard assessments, landslide investigations, regional hillside catchment risk assessment, metasedimentary rock studies and 3D ground modelling to help manage geotechnical risk and facilitate the safe and cost-effective design and construction of engineering works.

(Quantity Surveying - Assistant Quantity Surveyor)

**WATER**

**Main Responsibilities**
+ Undergo graduate development programme to obtain a professional qualification in relevant discipline(s) (wherever applicable)

+ Develop solutions for technical problems under supervision

**Qualifications**

+ 2025 graduates with a Bachelor degree (for graduates other than UK) / Master degree programme (for all graduates) or above in relevant discipline(s) with less than 2 years of relevant experience will also be considered

+ Good command of written and spoken English while good in Chinese is preferred
