Role Summary:

The Field Service Technician primary responsibility is to deliver customer service experience.

The goal is to drive success that improves customer satisfaction, maximises customer retention and increases profitability. The Field Service Technician will actively participate discussions across departments, Sales & Marketing / Supply Chain / Engineering / Customer Services, maintaining responsibility of timeliness and effectiveness of the Customer Services function.

The role will be heavily customer facing, and therefore the Field Service Technician will be an ambassador of Dedienne Aerospace, its brand, ethics and business vision.

  • Coverage of customers in Hong Kong
  • Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches
  • Responsible for quality on-site installation, commissioning, maintenance and test tasks at customers' sites
  • Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine/render proper solutions
  • Conduct training for customers' engineers and technicians
  • Verifying, by visual and technical inspection, incoming goods in accordance to purchase order specifications and conformance with refining practices which requires positive material identification, testing and measuring, etc.
  • Packaging of stock and non-stock material in accordance to specified procedures in preparation of shipping
  • Shipping out material or non-conformance receipts via vendor trucks, air/sea/land freight in accordance with specified procedures
  • Stock taking in accordance with specified area procedures to assure accurate inventories
  • Assist with general logistical arrangement, documentation and filing
  • Substantial business travel, approximately 40% of time, will be expected to fulfil the Operations Technician role
  • A Visit Report must be completed and sent to all relevant parties in a timely manner.
  • Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Aviation/Aeronautics/Astronautics), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
  • And/Or at least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Full-Time position(s) available.

- Develop and follow best practices and procedures for various maintenance activities related to Tesla Energy equipment.

What You'll Bring- Must have Certificate of Registration as an Electrical Worker.
- 3+ years' electrical experience' within the Commercial, Industrial or Utility sector.
- Must be able to work from complex and detailed documentation and/or verbal and written instructions depending on situation.
- Strong computer skills. Comfort with Microsoft office and cloud-based computing programs. Ability to communicate and function well in a mobile office setting.
- Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions, electrical diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is an advantage
- Must be reliable, have good initiative, committed, and quality focused.
