We are seeking a highly capable and experienced professional with approximately 10 years of experience in cybersecurity governance, and IT audit and security assessment support. This role focuses on leading security assessments in collaboration with technical teams, reviewing and translating technical findings into clear and impactful reports for clients, regulators, and senior management. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of security controls across various technology domains.

Your Role

  • Lead and coordinate security assessments across infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments, working closely with technical SMEs.
  • Interface with technical teams to understand control implementation and translate findings into governance insights.
  • Prepare high-quality security reports and presentations tailored for client and senior stakeholders.
  • Support responses to client and regulatory security inquiries, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and timely delivery.
  • Support the development of security reporting and risk metrics
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Support audit and assessment activities, including evidence collection and coordination with internal teams.
  • Promote security awareness and contribute to training initiatives across the organization.

To Succeed in this Role

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in cybersecurity governance, technology risk, or audit-related roles.
  • Strong understanding of security controls across infrastructure, application, and cloud domains.
  • Proven ability to work with technical teams and translate technical content into business-friendly reporting.
  • Experience in preparing client-facing documentation and presentations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
  • Relevant certifications such as CISM, CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, or equivalent are preferred.

As a Senior Data Management Associate within the South & South-East Asia Country CDO team, you will play a pivotal role in implementing our data management strategy, facilitate the day-to-day activities to manage and drive resolution across different risk pillars and lead/coordinate short to medium-term projects. You will partner the Country CDOs in the team to ensure that data policies and standards are consistently applied across various business lines and functions for the 9 countries within the team’s coverage. Your role will also involve coordinating specific data work streams and managing reporting/metrics to support governance meetings. Additionally, you will contribute to fostering a global culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion. This position offers the opportunity to build strong partnerships with various teams and promote a data culture across all Lines of Business & Corporate Functions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the Country CDOs in the day-to-day management of Data Issues and driving consistent application of the Firmwide Data Risk Management Policy and Standards and local regulatory requirements.

  • Lead to develop standards, controls, procedures and accountability frameworks for data governance implementation across the organizationLead to define data strategy to establish and ensure adherence to the organization’s data governance framework for data policies, standards, governance metrics, processes and data architecture
  • Track emerging data regulations and trends to maintain a compliant and contemporary data governance program
  • Oversee processes for improving data quality, cataloging, and metadata management. Implement data quality rules, checks, and issue resolution workflows
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or above in related discipline
  • Minimum of 8 years working experience in data governance / data management / risk management related work
  • Experience in establishing and monitoring of data governance framework
  • Experience in AI governance is highly desirable
  • Sound knowledge of HK regulatory requirements related to data governance is highly desirable
  • Previous experience to develop and execute data strategy, governance policies and data management is a plus
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving and project management skills
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building and presentation abilities
  • Confident working in cross-functional, collaborative environments
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
