*Responsibilities:
Project Finance *
- ERP & System Implementation: Play a key role in the finance workstream for ERP implementation and other financial software enhancement projects. Responsibilities include assisting with business case development, tracking project budgets, supporting data migration, and performing user acceptance testing (UAT) for finance modules
- Process Improvement & Change Management: Analyze existing financial processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies. Propose, model, and support the implementation of process changes to improve accuracy, speed, and controls
- Project Analysis & Tracking: Conduct variance analysis on project budgets (budget vs. actual), track project milestones, and prepare status reports for key stakeholders and senior management
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between the finance department and other teams (e.g., Product, Development and Operations) to ensure project requirements are met and financial objectives are aligned
Reporting & Compliance
- Process Improvement: Help streamline reporting processes and enhance the quality of financial data and insights
- Ad-Hoc Analysis: Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and support special projects as requested by the finance leadership team
Requirements
- Experience: 3-6 years of relevant experience in a finance role, such as corporate finance, project finance, or financial planning & analysis (FP&A)
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace is essential, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and complex formulas. Strong skills in PowerPoint for creating clear and impactful presentations
- Project management: Be able to steer projects independently with proven experience
- Analytical Mindset: Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely
- Attitude: A proactive, self-starting individual who is eager to learn and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Preferred:
- Progress towards a professional qualification (e.g.CPA, ACCA) is a plus
