We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Operations Analyst to join our Group Finance team, primarily supporting the Group Finance Operations and Business. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a junior finance professional to take ownership of essential finance and operations tasks, while contributing to cross-functional collaboration, process improvement, and automation initiatives. The role also includes regular communication with our regional teams on Group consolidation matters.
Key Responsibilities
Core Finance Operations:
- Prepare and issue monthly sales invoices and monitor accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and P&L preparation and reporting.
- Support leasing, royalty payments and sales reports.
- Assist in group-level intercompany transactions and consolidation and audit preparation.
Operations Improvement & Strategic Initiatives:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Finance Manager on system enhancements to improve workflow between finance and project/operations teams.
- Help develop internal SOPs, company Finance polices and trackers for finance operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably with exposure to startups or fast-growing businesses.
- Strong Excel and data management skills; experience with accounting systems (e.g. Xero, Zoho) and automation tools (e.g. Power Automate, Zapier, or similar) is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong sense of ownership and a willingness to learn in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
- Fluent in English and Chinese.

To support the Finance Operations Manager in regard to the Hong Kong and Macau specific Accounts Payable functions and Control of Expenses for the Company. The primary responsibilities of this role are to manage Accounts Payable, oversee the operations of the outsourced Accounts Payable Centre (CBS), undertake Expense Variance Analysis and to provide support to the business departments.
Responsibilities:
1. Overview the SSU team to ensure all Hong Kong and Macau payables are up to date and the corresponding entries in PeopleSoft are entered in a timely.
2. Ensure all Premium Taxes and Levies returns are completed within required deadlines.
3. Liaising with group businesses to agree, reconcile and settle intercompany balances.
4. Ownership of the month end closing processes including ensuring expenses are appropriately managed and adjusted for changes in business conditions.
5. Ensure key control reconciliations such as intercompany, bank and other key accounts are reconciled on a timely basis and outstanding issues are investigated and resolved.
6. Supporting other members in the Finance department in meeting their respective objectives by providing appropriate operational support.
7. Ensure participation and completion of any relevant finance specific projects and programs.
8. Supporting other business departments in meeting their respective objectives by providing appropriate finance functional support.
Requirements:
- Results oriented, self-motivated, high level of personal organization with the ability to manage time effectively to achieve the various deadlines.
- Good analytical & communication skills and attention to detail is essential.
- Bachelor of Commerce/Accountancy degree/Accounting related Technical Certificate or close to completion
- 4 years or more work experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications, e.g. Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook

Position Overview
The Finance Operations Analyst, Sales Audit (Accounting) will be responsible for sales, bank, and general ledger reconciliations in a particular scope to perform all details of sales auditing functions, as further described below, for all divisions within Asia-Pacific. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for providing assistance in support of all facets of the closing and reporting process, related reconciliations and analyses, streamlining of procedures, and upholding controls for the region.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Performs daily system auditing make sure that all the sales data are in place and report to business on daily store polling status
- Actively participate in the month-end close process including journal entry preparation and account reconciliations
- Prepares and issuance of mall certificate invoice and monthly statement submit to landlord for reimbursement
- Prepares monthly AR aging report and follow up on the status
- Identify and resolve cash over/short, mall certificate and credit card discrepancies
- Managing the credit card chargeback/retrieval process, including investigating, and responding to all credit card chargeback issues
- Responsible for performing and providing documentations for external auditor plus SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) internal control compliance properly
- Assist in project and UAT related to Finance Sales Audit matters
- Archive & organize important sales audit paperwork and other ad hoc assignments Key Stakeholders:
- Retail Operations - work maintain and keep good process involving sales
- Merchant Service Provider - to ensure stores are set up appropriately
- Lease Finance Team - To ensure sales records to Landlords are accurate for rent computation
- Minimum 2 years or above relevant experience in commercial Accounting field, preferably in retail industry or MNCs
- High Diploma or Bachelor of Degree holder in Accounting or related discipline
- Experience with E-Commerce would be a plus
- Detail-oriented, good time management, self-motivated, strong problem-solving skills, willing to learn and ability to meet the deadline
- Good command of both written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of Finance Systems - preferably Dynamic 365 / BI or similar ERP system and POS system
- Proficiency in using Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

The Finance Operations Analyst, Sales Audit (Accounting) will be responsible for sales, bank, and general ledger reconciliations in a particular scope to perform all details of sales auditing functions, as further described below, for all divisions within Asia-Pacific. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for providing assistance in support of all facets of the closing and reporting process, related reconciliations and analyses, streamlining of procedures, and upholding controls for the region.
- Performs daily system auditing make sure that all the sales data are in place and report to business on daily store polling status
- Actively participate in the month-end close process including journal entry preparation and account reconciliations
- Prepares and issuance of mall certificate invoice and monthly statement submit to landlord for reimbursement
- Prepares monthly AR aging report and follow up on the status
- Identify and resolve cash over/short, mall certificate and credit card discrepancies
- Managing the credit card chargeback/retrieval process, including investigating, and responding to all credit card chargeback issues
- Responsible for performing and providing documentations for external auditor plus SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) internal control compliance properly
- Assist in project and UAT related to Finance Sales Audit matters
- Archive & organize important sales audit paperwork and other ad hoc assignments
- Retail Operations – work maintain and keep good process involving sales
- Merchant Service Provider – to ensure stores are set up appropriately
- Lease Finance Team – To ensure sales records to Landlords are accurate for rent computation
- Minimum 2 years or above relevant experience in commercial Accounting field, preferably in retail industry or MNCs
- High Diploma or Bachelor of Degree holder in Accounting or related discipline
- Experience with E-Commerce would be a plus
- Detail-oriented, good time management, self-motivated, strong problem-solving skills, willing to learn and ability to meet the deadline
- Good command of both written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of Finance Systems – preferably Dynamic 365 / BI or similar ERP system and POS system
- Proficiency in using Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

Position Overview
The Finance Operations Analyst, Sales Audit (Accounting) will be responsible for sales, bank, and general ledger reconciliations in a particular scope to perform all details of sales auditing functions, as further described below, for all divisions within Asia-Pacific. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for providing assistance in support of all facets of the closing and reporting process, related reconciliations and analyses, streamlining of procedures, and upholding controls for the region.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Performs daily system auditing make sure that all the sales data are in place and report to business on daily store polling status
- Actively participate in the month-end close process including journal entry preparation and account reconciliations
- Prepares and issuance of mall certificate invoice and monthly statement submit to landlord for reimbursement
- Prepares monthly AR aging report and follow up on the status
- Identify and resolve cash over/short, mall certificate and credit card discrepancies
- Managing the credit card chargeback/retrieval process, including investigating, and responding to all credit card chargeback issues

Responsibilities
- Handle full sets of accounts and financial reports for MIB Hong Kong entities.
- Prepare management reports and monthly schedules to Management and Group Finance.
- Prepare Financial Resources Rules (“FRR”) returns and client monies reconciliation to ensure compliance with SFC requirements.
- Handle client inward and outward payments.
- Coordinate with teammates in other regions for intra group financial reporting.
- Coordinate with external parties such as banks, SFC, auditor and tax representatives on respective matters.
- Handle other ad-hoc requests and tasks as required by Department head and Management when necessary.
Requirements
- University degree holder with relevant professional qualifications or above.
- At least 5 years’ relevant working experience, preferably in the securities sector.
- A team player with initiatives to learn and develop.
- Able to work under pressure and to meet tight reporting deadline.
- Attentive to details and hardworking.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese, proficiency in spoken Putonghua will be an advantage.
- Knowledge in using accounting software, SAP, is a plus.
- Strong PC knowledge such as Microsoft Office etc. Knowledge on VBA will be a plus.
- Senior title will be considered for candidate with more experience.
